I posted on here last week about this and just loaded an earlier save because I thought it was just a glitch. I have figured out how it happens. Serana and I were in a fight with Foresworn at Dead Crone's Rock and I got really close to her in the heat of battle and the next thing I saw on the screen was that my vampire blood was boiling in the sun. So I checked my active effects and sure enough have vampire powers and weaknesses. So I checked to see if I still have wolf blood and, just to be sure, I transformed into beast form. Yep..I am officially both now, unless she hit me with some kind of spell that will wear off? If that is the case, then wouldn't the active effects show the vampire powers with so many hours left until they wear off? I am stunned. I play on xbox or I could post a screen if I was on pc. I am serious about this. Does Bethesda know about this bug?

There is one way you can become a hybrid, though its a bug. I've never heard of this though. >.>

How exactly did this come about? Do you believe it can be replicated? Preferably before the next patch?

Pretty cool, huh? So what do you think I should do? Should I keep my Vampire powers or cure it? I finished Dawnguard on the Dawnguard side, so I didn't get all those cool powers or spells and the castle is vacant, etc.

There was actually already a way to become a hybrid, even in vanilla skyrim.

Depends. Can you transform into the VL?

Try it..just get into a big battle with Serana and stand right up next to her while she is firing off spells. That is what I did and this is the second time it has happened for me.

I don't see that ability to turn into VL in my powers menu. I have vampire's servant under my powers menu. I also have vampiric drain in destruction and that is all I see.

Hmm, so then you're not really a "Dawnguard" version vampire; you're just a normal kind. Still cool, but it's too bad you can't have the option to be a VL.

Get rid of Beast blood.

Sure, he COULD become a VL by Serena, but he wouldn't be able to access the rings and amulets that grant improved powers because he completed Dawnguard.... Well, as a part of the Dawnguard.

There's little reason to abandon the Vamparism or the Lycanthropy.

I haven't played as a vampire in Skyrim. I tried it in Cyrodiil and didn't much care for it, but I notice that I don't actually take as much sun damage here in Skyrim. In Cyrodiil, I couldn't go out in the daytime, so my merchandise trading was severely affected and I love to trade. I suppose I will keep it for a while and see how it goes. Do you think they will patch it or not?
