rage is running at 60fps on consoles so while it might have a nice art style it won't have the best graphics...well on consoles at least, the pc version might be a different story

I know, I know. This is just what we know is to come, and the major games that are really known for their outstanding graphics, there are plenty of other games with excellent graphics. But these are the top 4 competitors, (in my opinion).

I would put more on BF3 physics than graphics, but its a very close tie for the lead.

I can't believe there are console exclusive games listed here.

Nothing on a console has graphics that are ever anywhere near as good as a PC game, ever.

incorrect, PC games have directx limitations. Even though a PC is nearly 10x as powerful. blame directx! lawl

its true, DirectX holds back games visualy speaking, and something like DX11 unlocks a few more visual possibilities, but only when fully utilized.

so if you had a console with the same hardware as a beastly modern computer, then the console would raqe face

you do realize DICE developed for consoles as well as PC right? nothing outstanding, when you produce a corridor shooter with scripted physics. take a look at the BF3 second demo, its all scripted, and therefor they can get away with pushing the graphics a bit more so your computer doesnt fry like it would with those graphics and a wide expanse like with Crysis 2

Yes, and that also goes to show with the physics of the game. It gives it an amazing look

dude, I could pull that off with Gary mod if I wanted cuz its a scripted event, aka its not done in realtime, like Crysis 2 is. see the launch trailer? all in real time, nothing scripted.

Excuse me but where is Uncharted 3? Everyone knows Uncharted 2 is twice as better as Gears of War 2 graphically.

Battlefield 3. Besides it's built for the PC again where is Crysis 2 is cutting features out of the PC and making them identical to the console version.
