Companies in the video game industry seem to get away with a lot more dirty tactics than other industries.
Edit: Dirty tactics that either people don't care about or just take it.
LMFAO are you serious? Take a look at the music industry; a fairly large british pop act by the name of Steps having to call it a day due to the fact that they were more or less fooled into signing a contract which meant not only did they not get paid enough to live on, the men got 4x as much as the women. They made a 'comeback' recently, but still, they were topping the charts and should have made AT LEAST a reasonable amount. And this isn't the only tale of its kind, only the most well known.
How about retail? Naming no names *cough*ASDA*cough* with their multibuy deals. For example, 10 yogurts for £4. Sound good yeah? The offer ends and the individual price of the yogurts drops down to near enough half of what each one cost on the multibuy. And those practises are RIFE. Open your eyes and stop crying about a poxy 30 day wait.
