Jill, IMO.

We have only seen two types of dragons. There is about three more types of dragons and they say that they really vary in looks. I think that is a dragon that you will probably have to deal with later in the game. The dragons just way too plain to be alduin in my opinion

They're not jills. Jills exist only to fix the timeline after a Dragon Break.

Its not alduin. It's the same dragon that goes to bleak falls barrow.

No way that was Alduin, on a side note, the dragon was trying to kill you, right? He just happened to save you coincidentally.

Now, I am kind of curious. Will he be the first dragon we take down...or maybe we actually don't face him till near the end somewhere before dealing with Alduin? I am inclinded to think he might be one of the first as he rather prolifically used fus-roh-rah..but it's hard to say.

The dragons are returning, Alduin would most definitely be the last dragon to make it's return - not the first.

If he could just come in and destroy everything he damn pleases at any given time, why wouldn't he do it before Dovahkiin even had the chance to start the main quest and become a friggin' walking god?

There must be some conditions that have to be met, or something... maybe the current Kalpa is reaaaally close to ending, but just not quite there yet? [he can only eat the world at the end of every kalpa]

We don't know that yet. If I had to guess, I'd say that he was there to kill you.

He did sort of stand still and stare down at you for a few moments, it almost seemed like he was looking directly at your face for a good 5 or 10 seconds, after which he calls a meteor storm.

Where did you read that? because I'd love to know more about the Jills, not a lot of information about them.

We've seen 3, there was that one from X-play, I hope it aint Alduin but it really looked like the statue which Todd confirmed to be Alduin. Either way no one can really say it was or wasn't Alduin until we play the game, we can only speculate hence why I'm not saying it was 100% him or 100% not him.

Definitely not. Go watch the demo again. They look nothing alike aside from being a Dragon, in my opinion.

Yeah, the one at bleak falls I am pretty sure was a standardish brown one. I am thinking this one may be a penultimate or mid-game boss so to speak.

If you listened to the podcast yesterday or so, the artists talk about Alduin's design being influenced by meteoric glass and a kind of science-fiction feel... this dragon happened to summon meteors and a nebulous-looking cloud?

Alduin can be as small or as big as he likes, he is a god. Also wasn't trying to eat the world on that occasion so size isn't that much of a factor.

Definitely alduin. Looking at the video, the collector's statue, and the concept art, they all look exactly the same. As others have pointed out, I don't see why his size is a problem. He clearly showed he was extremely powerful, calling down all those shouts and such. And if that was a jill, then alduin will have to look exactly like a jill, just bigger. That would be pretty lame. It's definitely alduin.
