In the 20 minute leaked footage the dragon that attacks looks a lot like Alduin? is it him i taught he wasn't meant to appear till much later in the game?.

Like I said in another thread, it was most likely one of the Jills, a race of black dragons that serve a Alduin's personal bodyguards. The reason I thought of the Jills rather than Alduin is the fact that the model doesn't quite match up with his statue.

I doubt it, it was probably just a dragon. I don't think we'll see Alduin properly until the very end of the main quest.

That's the first thing that came to mind for me as well. Definitely didn't look like any other dragon that we've seen thus far. That dragon was very unique and very spikey.

I would assume alduin knows who the dragonborn is right??? Why would he pretty much save him?? That open kind makes me not want to kill dragons one just saved your life

I don't see why people think it isn't him.

He's pitch black, has red eyes, and he has cool spikes on him. That definitely fits the description of the statue.

Though, if it really was him, I'm pretty disappointed. He's pretty small and he didn't even talk! :sadvaultboy:

we haven't seen the whole intro, for all we know, after you escape the dragon comes back to kill you. Or maybe the dragon was really after ulfric stormcloak, or whoever that was.

Nah it be like his minion dragon or something, I would expect Alduin to be much bigger and be at the end of the game.

Thought it was him too, had the same horns and spikes as the Alduin from the concept art.

I thought it could be him as well, the look matches the statue and the dragon had red eyes, I looked at the other dragons we've seen so far and they didn't have red eyes, could be wrong and I hope so.
