So I'm Watching My Nephew Play Ponies...

Quickly, get that kid a Nintendo and a copy of Mario before he is corrupted.

It sounds like it's to late already---CoD:MW3 has taken another one. One life lost, extinguishes my own :(.

This thread alone has more viewers than the Dishonored forum has in total at any given time, get over there! Gonna be the best game of 2012. http://www.gamesas.com/forum/162-dishonored/

But yeah, kids should not be allowed to play multiplayer games until they are at a reasonable age. It is the parents fault at the end of the day.

Indeed. Its poor parentig that leads to kids like this. parents using video games as a babysitter instead of telling their kids to go outside and make their own fun.

I was about to complain that you were advertising another forum, but it turns out it's a part of this forum that I didn't know about. :P What the hell Zenimax, stop dumping all the crap you publish here.

Take off the HDD of the 360. Dip it in water. Reconnect it. Inform his mother he did it because he got mad at a game. If she is smart, she will never buy him a gaming rig ever again.

However that would be 300 dollars of her hard to come by money.

And breaking his machine would really tear him up. I'm sure you'd say he deserves it, and he probably does, but this is first decent console in a long time.

Anyways... I'll discuss it with his mom.

Btw, she's, we'll ghetto.

It sounds like it's to late already---CoD:MW3 has taken another one. One life lost, extinguishes my own :(.

Another one bites the dust.

Then when you walk out the room, he hops onto your WoW and calls all his opponents fat noobs who took his killz

I gotta say, I laughed my ass off.

When I was into MW2 my goal was the extermination of campers and quickscopers.

The holy crusade. May you walk forever, and git up off ya dike whilst playing Call of Duty.

He's a spoiled dike.

I told his mom(my sister) and she didn't give a damn.

Fabulous.

How old is he? If he is 8, then this kind of behavior is rather common (though 8 year olds shouldn't play Rated M games). But if he is over 15...

Out of your hands then. Best you can do is wean him off CoD with Skyrim or some other easy game for him to get into. Let's face it. CoD multiplayer has exposed him to too much already anyways. Not like Skyrim which is another M rated game can do anymore damage. But at least it might introduce him to some critical thinking skills. Then again he might become anti-social too.

Effing negligent parents. CoD should not be played by anyone under 14 IMO. They are just not prepared for that kind of exposure. But no, some parents think it is too hard to regulate their children. Glad I did not grow up in the CoD era.

I was playing Silent Hill and Resident Evil when I was five, and I turned out alright. I don't think CoD is going to corrupt him too much.

Because TV-land is a place where there's only sunshine and rainbows. There's no chance that he'll channel-surf into violence, six, nudity or bad language there. And it's not like there's this place called "school" that he goes to every day and interacts with children that know what "waterboarding" and "sperm" and "DP" mean.

Yes but some children are raised different and you are more of an exception than the rule. Kids have always been impressionable. CoD is also a big multiplayer game with tons of people not giving two [censored] about what they say. They even scream and yell at the kids and you routinely hear kids saying incredibly effed up things online. There is a damn good reason the game is rated mature.

I also have no proof that you turned out fine :P hehe

There's stuff much, much worse just on TV.

I was playing GTA Vice City when I was 7, and I didn't turn out completely messed up.
