I was playing Silent Hill and Resident Evil when I was five, and I turned out alright. I don't think CoD is going to corrupt him too much.

There's stuff much, much worse just on TV.

I was playing GTA Vice City when I was 7, and I didn't turn out completely messed up.

Obligatory Caveat: Human mental development normally ends around age 24. It is therefore impossible to determine if you are "messed up" or not until you reach that age. For all you know, you could be 100% messed up and you wouldn't even know it.

That is more of a suggestion. Basically it is illegal to sell a game to someone under 17, well 18 where you are. If a kid goes to purchase it the parents could just tell the employee it is okay, and the kid can buy it. It's like a movie, the parent or elder can buy a ticket for someone who doesn't meet the age requirement.

But get him away from that auto-tune music, smack your sister/brother for messing up their child.
