But werebears had to step aside once Hircine announced himself with a pack of werewolves.
I don't think that Hircine favors Werewolves over his other children. I think he hunts personally with Werewolves becaues that is the niche they fit into with regards to the hunt. If he were hunting an Argonian who took to the water I'm sure he would switch to Weresharks and Werecrocodiles or which ever of his children fit the bill at the time. And as to why Werewolves are more numerous, it could be argued that they are weaker than their cousins and so more of their prey manage to escape and that he uses them in his hunts more often because using the other Werebeast in groups would be less sporting as Hircine always gives his prey a chance, however small.
And wereravens with more magicka, but lower health and stamina!
Raging lycanthropic sorcerers for the win.
Werebeast cannot use magic in their beast forms.
I really don't get why people would want werebears when we already have werewolves.
There's nothing unique enough about them to warrant the time and effort to make them seeing as how they would just be a werewolf reskin.
And plus I can't even imagine how dumb they would look i mean werewolfs look cool all standing upright and whatnot. All i see is the bear doing that standing attack thing and waddling around like that ugh.
Werebears are the most numerous Werebeast in Skyrim. By rights, Werewolves should have been left out and Werebears should have been the focus.
Why would they fight each other? They could be "cousins" or the Were Bears are a more stronger form of the Were Person.
I doubt that they would fight each other, for any other reason than personal strife, as they are in a way siblings and work together with Hircine in his hunts.
