Of course Beorn comes to mind first but when I think of Werebear http://i614.photobucket.com/albums/tt223/Zapata005/werebear.jpg and http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120512014141/warriorsofmyth/images/thumb/4/4a/Bear_monster_%28werebear%29.jpg/250px-Bear_monster_%28werebear%29.jpg comes to mind

http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/193/5/8/were_bear_by_red_arcade-d3nma7q.png is what I think of when werebears come up. I hope Bethesda make them look a little bit like that.

If they added Hircines hunting grounds as a DLC, I probably won't be a werebear. Since the werewolves get to hunt with Hircine at night, and are considered the best of the werecreatures.

Werewolves are the most common lycanthropes, but there's nothing that states they're the "best".
In my opinion, strength and endurance is better than speed and agility.

Depends. Strength means nothing if you can't hit your opponent.

I wouldn't classify werewolves as the best. I certainly think they're favored by Hircine, but that's not the same thing as being the best. He probably finds them to be the most useful in terms of using them on his hunts.

True, but agility means nothing if you just dance around your opponent and never get close enough to hit them.

I agree that werewolves would probably be more successful predators, but when it comes to head-on fighting, I imagine werebears would be better in that department.

Little mutts. I could take a whole pack of 'em
I hope they add werebears so I can play as a tank or a swift silent assassin (if they add a sneak toggle for werewolves)

This new Hearthfire DLC makes me wonder.... will werebears get bear caves and werewolves get wolf dens?jk

Hopefully werebears will be in the next DLC, if they're not I may get mad and turn into one.

I already have a den in-game  I took it from some bandits and claimed it as my own
Remember how we thought Vsions gave us a hint, well he did the exact same thing in my thread just before Dawnguard was released so I wouldn't give up all hope just yet. From the sounds of things Heartfire will be a DLC focused on evil stuff just like Dawnguard was so I would wager that werebears might be included seeing how their looked upon as being an evil creature.

Luckily Gstaff confirmed that a small team worked on Hearthfire and a larger team is working on a more substantial DLC. So werebears are still very possible.

Werebears better be worth the wait (if in fact their not "hidden" in Hearthfire) :swear:

I'm right there with ya man, hopefully the next DLC is very dark and full of creatures that are not very nice especially the werebear

We can just hope, but I don't see how they won't be included because we have got almost everything from the gamejam. :shifty:
