Werewolf: Back to Basics, Aftermath

Well, my bad then.

I thought some things were supposed to make sense. Silly me.

I'll completely ignore my own character sheet next time.

It's too bad you didn't understand the mechanics, then. To make it clear; you don't HAVE to play. Nobody is forcing you.

This is not a role play. If you want a role play, there is a different section of the forums. This is a murder mystery game with role play elements. Does it make the games more entertaining when people post in character? Sure, but solving the mystery is the most important part of the game. I'm sorry if you find this annoying, but well done personality evidence is probably the best evidence.

I don't want to be mean about this, but yeah, murder mystery first, RP second.

Another thing I would like to point out is I enjoyed the medieval setting for the game, I don't mind any other setting, but I find the medieval setting a little more enjoyable.

Yeah, it's a classic setting where it all works out. It's one of the reasons I chose it for this game. It appeals to pretty much everybody.

Well, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I liked the timer, the map, and the host's consistency.

Really? I found my case mediocre, and I was waiting for someone to elaborate more on it.

I don't remember all the details, so I kind of svck at this game. :P Sorry for referencing roleplay, I'm a noob with this and thought it was basically what everyone else was doing: referencing personality to find the culprit.

The figuring out isn't that hard for me, just somehow translating my brain to something people can comprehend was the weakness in my playing this game. I have to wonder, why would a converted werewolf suddenly want to kill the people it was trying to save just yesterday? Why didn't the converts help the innocents?

Good crop of newbies this time. That's always heartening to see. Here is a link to the http://z6.invisionfree.com/Dead_Lounge/index.php? for those of you who haven't found it yet. It is our little Werewolf hideout.

Anyway, good game Oranos. I died too early, but you can hardly be blamed for that! :P

I was kind of hoping I'd die earlier. I'm too much of a noob to make it to the end.

You DO reference personality to find the culprit, you just don't cross reference personality between the posting and the profile. Cross referencing personality in the write ups vs the character profile OR a changing posting personality are both good ways to finding wolves.

Newbies never die. Never Ever.

The only way newbies can be killed is if the wolves can win the game before they win first. They are the most powerful werewolf players in the world!

I see your point with the never-dying noobs, but I'm not sure I understand your cross-referencing example.

I think my brain picks up all the pieces and solves the puzzle in the subconcious, but then I habe no idea it's happening.

What Rat's trying to say is that you have to check everyone's personality and check how that would fit with how the wolves are doing their thing.

The other thing he mentions is that people will change the way they post when they are converted, because they're now fighting for the different team. Good wolves will find a way to change as little as possible, so if they were active, they'll stay active, but make cases against innocents instead of against wolves.
