Intro

Hello, and welcome to the sign-up for Werewolf: The Mists of Death. If this is your first time encountering one of these threads, you may be wondering, "Just what exactly is Werewolf?" Werewolf is, at its heart, a murder mystery. The players are a hapless group of individuals being slowly killed off by nefarious beings hiding in their midst, and must hunt down their attackers using clues provided by me, the host. If you are interested in joining our little family of monster hunters, simply indicate your wish to play by posting, then begin working on your character sheet based on the guidelines that will be provided below.

Setting

In 1850, Crayton was a little crossroads town, sitting on two roads that led nowhere, still adjusting to changing hands at the end of the Mexican-American war. Most of the residents were of Mexican heritage, still living in the town that had sprung up around the old Jesuit mission. The end of the war and the news of gold had brought a large influx of white settlers passing through, and some of them stayed. As November rolled around, the residents of Crayton were preparing the annual festivities to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Little did they realize the new meaning that was to be given to that name.



Your Character


Your character is the avatar for your thoughts and words in the game of Werewolf. It is also the source for the clues that are a vital part of the game, so please make your character detailed and well-rounded.

Day End will be at 4:00 PM CST (GMT - 6), write-ups will be posted at 6:00 PM.

Only the place with the most votes will be searched each day.

You are allowed to claim to have any role you wish.

Please keep OOC pvssyr to a minimum and confined to information not directly relevant to the game.

I will play. Character sheet to follow, once I know a basic setting.

Regular players might also be wondering where the sections are for roles and ethics, but in our last Aftermath, North said he'd keep the former hidden (for strategic purposes) and do away with the latter (because it was stupid).

No clue, but with a name like "The Mists of Death" I shall assume that the game will be scary.

Occupation: Huntsman (Former Mayor of a small town)
Possessions: lemon seeds, a prosthetic tongue made of silver, a Bible, a flute, a hunting knife, rifle bullets
Personality: very convincing, compulsive liar, heroic, a quick thinker, short tempered
History: Jebediah led a band of wagons from Maryland and headed westward on a quest to find "New Sodom" after misinterpreting a passage of the Bible. They later settled in New Mexico. After years of leading his small town, he was replaced as mayor and sent packing. He somehow made his way to Crayton and has lived there for nearly ten years.
