Most hobbies cost a lot, few two people in the same house and sleeping together will enjoy with each other.

Reading, writing, painting, make art or furniture for around, photography, walking, camping, dancing.
Heck got talking to an 84 year old woman offering to sit on my lap and her husband, they loved singing karaoke it seems.

I find friends are a good way to pass time, offline when free, online if not. Find a home go wild and have fun.
Charity or community projects.
An interest in history and museums.... ??

I still paint and collect miniatures because I'm a big kid.

Gaming, I suppose, but it's mostly intended to make myself forget the real world.
If I have too much free time I call my boss and enlist for extra work or I study.

Reading (a lot), tabletop RPGs (like D&D or as I prefer, Pathfinder), gaming (to a degrading extent)

I find reading is my biggest one at the moment. I'm currently reading through George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire books at the moment but I have a ton of other material to read.
I'd like to be playing Pathfinder a lot at the moment however there seems to be only a tiny community here and it isn't roleplaying games people here seem to enjoy, it's magic: the gathering, World of Warcraft, the card game, Yu-Gi-Oh and Warhammer. If I were living in a State east of here however there are actually Pathfinder Society members I could game with.

I would do archery, but dont know where I can find a place around here.
Same as above, but sword fencing.

Fencing is actually quite difficult. All the protective kevlar you wear means you get hot very very quickly, and the mask is quite claustrophobic. Then you have to keep considering your foot positions, where the scoring area on your opponents body is, and blocking incoming attacks. I tried it but it wasn't for me. Too fiddly.

Historical re-enacting on the other hand, now I've gotten into this recently. I'm only a newbie to it so I'm only allowed to fight with a sword and a shield until I get my proficiency certificate. (Then I can try two-handed axes, crossbows, shield walls and other things.) In the meantime the sword and shield is keeping me fit because they're surprisingly heavy. It will take a few weeks for me to build up my strength so I can concentrate on where I'm hitting rather than wondering if blocking is going to break my wrist if I tilt my sword the wrong way. Plus, eventually I'll be in full costume, which is going to feel really awesome.

My other interests are a bit less exciting. Gaming, reading, watching a lot of films and writing for a couple of magazines is as about as far as it goes. Sitting down things, mostly

Other than gaming and going to class...

I like reading, right now I've been reading a lot of history books. Finished one on Henry Kissinger (that focused solely on 1973) and now I'm reading a book on the Cold War called 'One Minute to Midnight' (it's pretty interesting). Next up is a book called 'Eyes on the Horizon' by Gen. Richard Myers (USAF retired). Seems like it'll be interesting to read a book by someone who made it so far up the chain of command (He was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2001 to 2005).

I like to watch movies but never do. I subscribe to both Netflix and Hulu and have 100's of movies and shows in my queues... One of these days I'll catch up, I promise. I especially like Alcatraz right now.

I like to go to the bar every now and then, but lately I've been scared I'm going to get myself in trouble. We drank a lot last Friday night at the Airman's club on base and I've heard I ran / dove / fell all over base on the way back to the squadron and tried sliding down the hallways in the dorms. :ahhh: Lol. At one point in the night a LT. Colonel was hanging out talking to people so I'm afraid if I get too drunk I'll say something stupid to an officer. Apparently at one point a kid was wasted and told an officer he "didn't have the balls" to challenge him to a keg stand....Didn't end well for this airman. :P

Reading (far too much to make a list of it without making it too long)

Playing video games

Board games:
- Risk Legacy
- Settlers of Catan (planned for when my group has time for it)
Card Games:
- Magic: The Gathering
- Warcraft the trading card game
P&P RPG's
- D&D
Me and my friends also tend to try out a ton of other board/card/tabletop - games at gaming nights at a local games and arts store. Sometimes we attend tournaments there too.

Writing

Taking walks (only during the summertime though)

Collecting MLP:FiM blind bag figurines.

Discussing things on these forums :P

I very rarely play board games, so its cool to see others still have it as a hobby!

well really I haven't had time for much lately, but some of my passions are hiking, rock collecting, and kayaking (been meaning to try my hand at white water kayaking too, perhaps this summer).

White water kayaking is awesome. You've got to do it!

Exercise, gardening, rock climbing, kayaking, paragliding, cycling ... I like to play the piano, too. I used to enjoy reading but now that I have to wade through thousands of pages of dry text each year... I'll return to it eventually. I'm kind of into anime now, not so much live-action TV or movies anymore. And I've recently started learning how to 3D model and sculpt.

I think I overdo it in the hobby department.

Following Maltese politics

Curiously, I study banking and finance yet I don't really follow international finance news, except for the big news.
