What are your best skills?

Post » Tue Jan 01, 2013 9:17 am

Playing with attributes and skills in Morrowind, I asked myself today "what about my own skills, what am I good at?"

Here's my list:
- chemistry (pretty good)
- playing guitar (beginner)
- cooking (fairly good)
- chopping wood (experienced)
- chess (average)
- fishing with a pole (satisfactory)
- French (intermediate)

Would you like to think about this and post your most relevant skills? Just skills no attributes please, they're spreadsheety and redundant

The only thing I can say I am really good at is that I can work hard, physical labor I mean. I could work overtime all day, every day and never slack off doing it. My boss at my old job used to tell me that I replaced two normal employees. Other than that I'm probably no better at anything then your average person.

Long jump and triple jump.

Naming every country and capital in the world. Knowing every national flag.

I don't have many skills.
I have adequate grammar.
I can write when I get off my lazy ass to do it.
I can draw, though that skill is merely mediocre.
I know 29 different recepies for cooking a human.
I know how to stay quiet. (Yes, apparently that is a skill)
I'm a great lover.
I am like a cat when slipping on ice, I always land on my feet.
I am capable of not seeing the world as black and white.
I have eagle eyes.
And I look great covered in melted chocolate.

None. But I'm optimistic that I'll be good at something eventually. They say everybody is good at something, and I have no desire to prove that statement wrong.

Care to elaborate? What do you do once you find a grave you are looking for?

I'm a member of http://www.findagrave.com/index.html, which is a grave registration and memorial site- mainly US, but branching out. It's also a handy genealogical tool. I started with the graves of my own family. I find them and take pictures of the stones. People from all over learn they have a relative buried in my area and request a picture. I hunt for the grave, take a picture, and post it to the memorial for their relative.
