Thanks.

Thanks so much for help. :) Do I need to buy skinning knife as well?

No, if you make the leather yourself, all you have to do is use the tanning rack :)

Exquisite Orcish armour (crafted it myself  ) and some mask I got off the a Lich, with an Elven Longsword (flawless) and Fireball spell. :)

Mask location in spoiler, but it does contain a main quest spoiler
Spoiler
It's the mask you get from the Lich you have to kill just before you head to kill Alduin

I smithed a few pieces of dwarven armor, the helm and hte chest, the helm looks awesome btw. The other peices are items I found that add something like stamina etc and are quality pieces of armor. Bracers that add 15 to two handed etc. I also am disenchanting stuff so I can enchant my armor and weapons, IE, learning each enchantment I can. So far ive done some weapons and a shield.

Meh. I wasn't really a fan of how the helmet has the face built into it. It's kind of cool, I suppose, but not for me.

This game seems to have the issue of armor generally looking crappier the better it is. I wonder is it possible to enjoy the game if you stick to iron and steel?

I wear mixture of steel and the special iron armor mainpiece that I found in bleak falls barrow.

I wear leather armour because it's very light, but if I didn't hoard so much stuff in my inventory I would like to wear Falmer armour because it looks very unique and strange.

Archmage robes, though they look kind of terrible.

Also wearing a hooded mask I got from some lich up by a dragon wall.

Unfortunately, the robes have a hood as well... so when i put the mask on with the robes, some sort of bug occurs and my entire head (inside of the robes hood) disappears.

Kind of neat... but kind of not at the same time =P

Whiterun Guard armor that I found on the first dragon I killed. Serving me well so far.

Really want to up my smithing though, so that I can make the higher grade armor.

Erm, I think that was IN the Dragon, not on the Dragon. I do hope you cleaned it first....

The steel armor when I'm not dungeon delving, with a novice's hood that looks awesome. In dungeons I have a set of iron gloves with 25% damage to two hand and 40% iron boots protecting against frost. As a nord that's like 80% resistance to frost in all, I am almost invincible to frost attacks from mummy Nords. I'm still only level 8.

I tend to prefer light armour as I like the mobility it offers and, once I've done getting my health up to a reasonable state, I plan on investing in magic in which I won't particularly be getting too close to the enemy. Elven Light Armour at the moment.
