Some posts deleted. FYI, the modding of consoles is not a subject for discussion on this forum. <_<

I agree, hula hoops would make the game unbalanced

Dogmeat getting killed in a fight bothers... but the fact that he can get killed in a fight does not. I would be far more irritated if Dogmeat were some sort of essential/invulnerable waste of time.

I'm playing through Fallout 3 again with GOTY, as I never had DLCs, so no comment there. I haven't gotten to them yet.

I think the general polish of the game could have been a little better.

My biggest gripe would probably be the animations out of anything. And the "floaty" nature of character movement, like when you literally fly down stairs. Felt like you had no real weight or anything.

That may sound like something trivial to complain about, but if I could point at anything about Fallout 3 I think could really use work, it would be that.

I also didn't like the limited way to finish quests. I mean, sure there would be options, whereas in most games you only have 1. But for an RPG and open-world game, I was expecting more.

For that matter, more quests or longer, more involved quests would have been good.

Other

Immortal NPC's. Hated them. Also the quest compass.

Im sure there were other things but they were two of the main things that bothered me.

Yea im very happy about that, nothing more annoying then trying to wipe out a town with people who constantly get back up.

Now if only they'd remove the quest compass...

I've actually been wondering about that lately....
I've started to have a fear that since everyone can die.. We'll get to a quest giver only to find that they've somehow randomly died. From falling off of something (that happened in Megaton all the time.. I don't think I had a game where Lucy West lived through to the end.) . something attacking them.. blah, blah, blah.
That's going to kind of svck if that happens. Miss out on quests over something you have no control over.

All of the above EXCEPT options 3, 4, 7 and 9.

Dogmeat never died for me. I had a mod that let me toggle him to be immortal if I so desired. Which I usually did. And then promptly told him to wait in my player home for the rest of the game. Which brings me to point four:

More followers? How about followers that are useful to sneaky sniper types? I found every single one of them a liability. They just got me attacked more often than not, got in the way, shot me in the ass, and their AI was pretty stupid.

As for 7...this is Fallout. I don't want it to have pormo in it.

The DLC was quite wonderful indeed. Especially broken steel.

Most of the things were rectified by mods, so in the end they didn't matter. Even 7, for the perverts among us. They won't necessarily be a deal breaker for New Vegas, either.

That's not a cool part of the game (if it is that way) ?

I certainly don't want the option of accepting and completing everything in the game. I found stuff in FO2 10 years later.
It'd be great [IMO] if the game presents a meandering path through the available quests; opening some up, and closing some off ~both by PC actions and sometimes random chance.

**Edit:
What bothered me in FO3 was things like the beggar outside megaton, and the gratuitous show of [predictable] silly consequence. Just imagine if instead, the fellow had remembered your actions towards him and later showed up (possibly) as either an ally or a man with a grudge. Say he vouched for you in Canterbury Commons ~or gave you a bad turn with the town leader, for having insulted (or struck) him when he was on the ground desperate.
(or fingered you for the megaton bombing)

Nothing really bothered me a lot, the whole vats thing you described is annoying but really rarely happened to me so no biggie.

I would have liked to have seen some expressions on peoples faces.
The characters would act excitrd but still have that miserable "get me out of this dump look".

I would have also liked there to have been a sprint action. but who needs to sprint when you've got your gun....or Fawkes.

what bothered you most in fallout 3 that you wish they improve

Other.

The the skill/stat system and its lack of real impact to the game.
Pace of leveling in collaboration with the amount of skillpoints and perks given (the ability to max out everything leading to the lack of unique character builds).
The overall balance (too much supplies available - stims, ammo, weapons, armor, everything).
Easy busywork minigames.
Bad writing.
etc

I voted for "could'nt sprint".
I think this should be added to the game, you should be able to sprint.
Maybe endurance could effect how long you can run,sprint..& may agility could effect how fast you could sprint & jump also.
Obviously weight would have to taken into account aswell.
You could have a sprint meter..imagine being chased by a death claw & you are trying to sprint to cover, knowing your meter is getting all the lower & eventually you gunna slow down.
If your endurance is high you may reach safety,if your endurance is lower you may fall short of the safe area/building etc. something like this could make it more interesting.
Also if you use all your energy from sprinting maybe it will effect you accuracy or fighting, because your tired. I just think i could add more to the game ,thrill wise & tactical wise :)
Just my opinion :)

It's not that the characters had no expression. It's that every face was exactly the same

I agree with everything on the list should be improved execpt nova and vehicles. what you can or cant do with a lady of the night is irrelevent to the plot and 200+ years after a nuclear war there should no operating vehicles left. I've wondered how the enclave could keep as many vertibirds running as they did.

Most things I was bothered by has already been said.
But whatever, I was bothered by the fact that no towns have any production going on. (mining, agriculture, chem making, stills etc)

The game freezes/lags too often

The green colour tint in the environment (glad this is gone)

Bullet sponge enemies

100 in all skills

Almost Perfect
