What character set up will you use for this DLC?

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 6:51 am

I'll use my Altmer mage.He is a master of Destruction and Conjuration but his Vampire abilities enhance his strength! There is no spell or shout that he doesn't know!Only one Dragonborn can stay alive!

A Breton mage (illusion, restoration, alteration and conjuration) and craftsman (use of alchemy, enchanting, forging). A human with Elven roots, having a passion for knowledge and mastery of techniques seems fitting Herma-Mora's realm.

My nord berserker Guthrum would fit this DLC well.

I'm going to use my imperial paladin. He was a legionare in the civil war before completing the MQ, so his sense of honor will praticaly compel him to investigate this other dragonborn.

Well I've always wanted to try a dragon priest build, and this looks like the perfect time to try that out

Interesting two dual wielding build's, and two magic build's of completely different natures.. Kinda makes me want to bring back my evil wizard lizard/ pyromaniac.
sounds like an epic character!

Im gonna use my main, whos is basically 100 in every warrior skill.
My sides are gonna be my wannabe-vigilant of stendarr, and my twohanded dark elf sellsword

I will simply make a Nord, name him MacLeod, get light armor and two-handed (specifically greatswords) both to 100, enchant my greatsword with a Shock effect, and chop my way to the other Dragonborn for the sole purpose of screaming: "There can only be one!" as I strike him down.

Kudos and a pat on the back if you got that, lol.

I will restart the game (again) and be the same class and character Iam since Morrowind (may sound boring hehe), its a typical warrior , block, heavy armor, one hand, smith, archery , restoration and just a little alteration for support.

I'll roll out a new character. Thinking of a ranger-type (archery, light armour, sneak, restoration) unless spears are in (stabby not thrown) in which case it's going to be an 'old-school' knight (heavy armour, two-handed/one-handed, block - spear dependant). If we need to be a certain level like in Dawnguard, I may have second thoughts about a new character for my first play through. Well, unless you can bypass it by going straight to the location like in Dawnguard :D

I'd use my usual setup. Since my character is a warrior I'd go with enchanted weapons and might consider dual-wielding then add a bit of shouting in my style. I'm trying to level up my character and get the zoom and slow time when I zoom perk to help me a little bit since I'm adding archery as my primary long-range threat since I hate magic.

I only have one PC in mind specifically for this DLC, a Dunmer. Light Armor, Shield, Dagger, Destro (Fire Missile only), Illusion (Fears only), Resto (Heals only), basically light infantry/mage, will covert to use spears (if available to PC). The rest, probably all or most of my PCs who've completed or will complete the MQ, and a Khajiit "merchant" who won't complete the MQ (but only if that's not a prerequisite).

I'm sure I'll use my dual-Mace wielding warrior: Kalibor Wind-Walker. He just seems to fit the bill.
Name:Chance
Race:Bosmer
Class: Archer
Combat Style: Bow&Arrow. spells close range
Weapons:NightingGale bow. daedric arrows

I'll be using my main lvl 50 Breton spell sword, I always use him first as I consider him to be the "true dragonborn"

A Nightblade if they made Destruction interesting with new spells, new enchantments... Really, anything that makes destruction damage viable late-game.

Something with a Spear if those are actually in (Hopefully not just in Dragonborn-specific content).

I'm in the progress of making my character as I type this; an Imperial who uses a shiled and sword combo. I might have him use a crossbow too. He'll also use Heavy Armor and Smithing. Going to get him around level 10-ish. Don't want him to be too strong going to Solstheim.

Just realized I will have to go get the Nightingale armor for this DLC, it makes me feel like Batman when I where it so I wouldn't mind facing off against this dragonborn while having it on.
