What character set up will you use for this DLC?

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 7:41 am

Honestly this Dragonborn DLC has me itching to make a new character. I'm thinking about rolling an illusion assasin this time around maybe a bit of crossbow action or just the good old dagger. It's been awhile since I have used sneak and I'm interested to see if it is possible to give the almighty Dragonborn the slip.

Any particular builds you are interested in using in this dlc?

I'm sure I'll use my dual-Mace wielding warrior: Kalibor Wind-Walker. He just seems to fit the bill.

I've never beat the MQ yet. But I'll probably roll a Dual Wield Nord barbarian or a Dunmer Sorcerer.

The same Dunmer Nightblade I played in Morrowind. No, really, I even modeled his face after one of the in-game Dunmer faces!

Interesting two dual wielding build's, and two magic build's of completely different natures.. Kinda makes me want to bring back my evil wizard lizard/ pyromaniac.

My blademaster assassin. He's good at both single and duel-blading, looking forward to some epic battles.

Based on what we saw on the Video, I would expect that Miraak is a magicka caster, who will use shouts (and summon some daedra)

I'll fight him on the same grounds. I would make a mage character and fight him on the same level

Your not the only one. My Dunmer Sorcerer is the same one in Morrowind. I consider Skyrim to be a continuation of his story.

I am currently in the middle of making this decision. I can't decide between my nord, my redguard, my dunmer or my breton. I am very indecisive :\

The DB content does scream "make a new character" as Dawnguard did. I'm excited to use my main character.

I will be bringing my sociopathic breton necropaladin. He is currently in the process of crafting a set of dwarven armor to wear with khonarhik under his self proclaimed title "Dragon King" he will shoot you with his crossbow of doom from afar, sick his thralls on you, and if you get close enough he will draw his dual enchanted legendary dragonbone sword named the Deathblade, which he carved from the bones of Alduin and enchanted with the souls of the dragonpriests. (Yes, he's slightly mad with power and is an extreme narcasist, who loves killing, but only kills bad people. And he's very protective over the innocents of skyrim. A true anti-hero! Good guy who does bad things.)

Probably Tiberius first, since I associate him with the Main Quest, and therefore as being the Dragonborn.

My destruction necroknight will be taking on this DLC, the weather forcast for Solstheim is clear skies and a 100% chance to rain fireballs and I'll even bring my trusty Draugr deathlord to join the party! Im even prepared for disarm shouts with my 100 damage punches

My very first character. My necrovamp (necromage vampire lord) character with enhanced dwarven crossbow, wooden sword (I'm leaving the dragonbone for a worthy opponent). He's also a Breton Spellsword. As such, he can cast invisibility, which makes him great for sneaking. Mister Dragonpriest is gonna get trashed.

I'm going to rebuild one of my previous characters.

Weapon: Fork (Fiery Soul trap and paralyze)
Mix some Alteration, Destruction and Restoration and I'm good to go.

Altmer pure mage and Dunmer spellsword... Maybe a Nord or Imperial warrior, but that'll have to wait for my
third or fourth playthrough.

I'm going to see how far I can get with the standard iconic nord warrior, sword and board with only iron armor.

My Nord mage thief, who loathes killing. He uses illusion magic and his sneak skills to avoid combat. I wonder how that will work out against the 1st dragonborn.

Nord Warrior type in Ancient Nord Armor and Wuuthrad in hand. I think I can cleave a few daedra and this so called Dragonborn without too much difficulty. :)
