What Difficulty will you play on?

Post » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:15 am

What difficulty is everyone gonna play on? I'm gonna try Hard hardcoe but if it's too hard then I will play on Normal.

Cant really say yet. If the difficulty setting merely changes damage done and recieved then ill play on normal. Hard/Very Hard just make it take longer to kill something and not harder.

Normal difficulty(it was the most balanced difficulty in Fallout 3) with hardcoe mode(first playthrough).

I'll be playing on normal for my casual playthrough.I'll be playing on hardcoe for my second playthrough and I'll be changing the difficulty to very easy(or just easy) so I could rush through it without much problems.

First playthrough.....Normal with no hardcoe, if too easy at first then I'll change the difficulty.

But after that first playthrough I work my way up from there. Except I never like to use Very Hard.

I thought Normal was to easy in FO3 but Hard was really hard for me so I hope it's more balanced on NV.

IMO the poll needs a "First, and thereafter" option.

I don't plan on playing with HC ever turned off.

Actually I feel like an idiot for not putting that option because I will only play with HC on also.
I changed the poll option to Yes instead of Yes, on first playthrough.

hardcoe/Very Hard(only if the enemies don't become bullet sponges)

With bullets having weight I want each shot to count and also I shouldn't be going all rambo.

Normal is fine for me. Not unrealistically hard, and not boringly easy. I'll try with hardcoe first time through, but if I don't like it I'll disable and try again on a later character.

I'm gonna be doing a Vanilla Normal playthrough first, just to get the feel of the game. I'll probably rush through the story a bit more on that playthrough.

Second playthrough will likely be hardcoe.

Hard hardcoe.

Hard in F3 was barely challenging, not because I was "good" but because there was so much ammo and weapons everywhere, so I assume it will be the same in vegas

Very Hard, hardcoe

I set every game to the hardest difficulty at the start.... after a few years of doing so I find that the lesser modes are extremely boring.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion was hell at first on the hardest difficulty...until I learned the game mechanics, and I LOVED every minute of it.

I"m going to play normal and hardcoe. I like normal because it's not too easy and it's not so hard that the game becomes not fun. Also hardcoe should help me get into the game more and make it just that much funner.

Very hard and hardcoe... I may regret it during the "learning curve" but I think it will be fun and worth it once I get the jist of things, so to speak.

I voted Normal and Maybe.
I'll probably try out hardcoe mode, but if I don't like it by the time I'm level 5, then I'll just restart. Without hardcoe.

I always start my games on Normal. Later on a may decide to go back and play on higher difficulties. (hardcoe on some later playthrough)

I think its kind of sad if you play on anything below Normal in any game to be honest.

Personally I found Oblivion to be a complete bore with the difficulty slider all the way up. Standing around whacking a basic enemy 20+ times to kill them isnt hard, its boring.
