What's so good about cassidy

C4 takes care of that job better than a stupid perk ever could.

I just let the suicidal "customer" of Silver Rush walk in and do the job for me. :D Easy as Fancy Lad Cakes!

But then you can't loot the place.

I already loot the place before I let that peculiar customer walk in. It's very fun and I would do it again in my next playthrough. The reaction of the Van Gruff guard outside is Classic!

EDIT with spoiler:

Spoiler
I grabbed the item and walked with it to a place where the guards can't see me and then I steal it.
But then you can't loot the place.

Can still loot the place for what I want out of it... matching black combat armor for all my companions.

I like Cassidy, but since we're on the subject, I had a problem with her in my current playthrough. Her health was normal at first and stayed that way for awhile, but for some reason her health went down to 50/50. I continued to use her for sometime after that but, I she dies too easily, so I loaded my last autosave and parted ways with her.

cass is a ash heap. Personally the only reason I even use a companion is for extra storage. all they are is a pack mule with a weapon to me. the perks are just added fluff

Hmmmm I cant say I liked Cass much because when I had her as a partner when I entered Brewers Beer Bootlegging when I entered the cellar she would not leave, I think its a glitch but its awfully convienent that she stops in a place with beer. :celebration:

She is not a fool. She is not comletely belligerent. If she was you would not be able to stop her from taking out the crimson caravan or the Van Graffs. She is also very independent and capable plus its a nuclear wasteland I would not trust a person that did not drink.

You could say that her father was a drunk but hes one of the best damn followers I could ask for.

Yup, she is great written too and has a lot of dialouge. (Well too much. I use a mod to keep the repetition down which is really the only problem)

Also in family tradition her refrences are the best.

She is my favourite companion of all of them.

Then let me also add, companions with hellbent quests do not excite me. A simple companion that follows and assists me is all I need. So, personally, nothing is good about Cassidy.

You only like 1 diminsional characters? It seems we have a celebraty on the forums, everyone please welcome George Lucas!

Actually no, I hated fawks. In fact, in Fallout 3 I didn't have any companion.

In NV, I prefer Veronica because she is simple and open to change.

Veronica? She's Not simple, and that open to change thing is that complicated and drawn out quest of hers....

For all that call Cass's perk stupid, Go use it with no armor, and use whiskey.

You should see a difference.
