Hard to say what ESO will feel like before I get the chance to play but most rpg's I've played I either go Paladin (Healing Spells, Heavy Armor, Sword and Shield) or Ranger (Archer with a pet and daggers or hatchets for back up when they get in close). That said I did have a blast playing a Bard in Everquest so you never know.

Khajiit male battlemage. Polearm/spear for a weapon, supported by close range (touch-style) destruction spells and defensive wards. Likely a mix of light and medium armor, with a focus on heavy stamina to facilitate melee attacks and frequent dodging - and hopefully what cant be dodges will be soaked up by magic wards and mage armor.

Spears/Mysticism Imperial

There are no Imperials, brooooo

Breton healing archer all the way. Sniping everybody from the comfort of a keep's walls while healing the line of tanks? No problem.
