Wait, I'm wondering, if young people find other young people attractive, do old people find other old people attractive? I'm sure that taste in partners doesn't change. So if a guy likes a young blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman at age 7, he will like the same at age 17 and age 77, doesn't that mean he wouldn't find an older woman attractive? I sure as heck know that if I don't like an old woman now I won't like one later.
Most people are most attracted to the people within their age band. Like, I'm not really attracted to anyone below the age of 25 - I might think they're nice looking, but they look too much like adolescents for me to think of them that way. In real life, I rarely think of someone much over the age of 50 as "sixy", though I might think someone is well-preserved. I tend to fancy film stars up to the age of 60, but that's because they have so much botox or whatever they tend to look far younger. When I was 20, I wouldn't have dreamed of finding a 60 year-old film star attractive - that was an "old man". But now, that's just not that old to me - they still might have 30 or 40 years' life in them. Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, those guys still have it, you know.
I still think my husband's cute, nearly 14 years after meeting him. I also have a friend who looks like an older version of him, and I think that guy is also cute, so I know that I'll still be happy in 20 years' time.
As to what I want to be like when I'm old - um ... somewhere between Summer, and Maude from Harold and Maude.
