What kind of old person do you wnat to be when you get old ?

I want to be one that confuses the heck out of the younger generation. At one point I will be a nice old man who has a huge knowledge and is seen as very wise, then I will out of nowhere go crazy and be "get of my lawn!" grumpy. They will never know what to expect.

and then my children will put me in an old folks home for the slightly insane... and I will be satisfied.

I plan on having enough money to throw the most amazing party and go out with a bang!

And an overdose.

Wait, I'm wondering, if young people find other young people attractive, do old people find other old people attractive? I'm sure that taste in partners doesn't change. So if a guy likes a young blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman at age 7, he will like the same at age 17 and age 77, doesn't that mean he wouldn't find an older woman attractive? I sure as heck know that if I don't like an old woman now I won't like one later.

Most people are most attracted to the people within their age band. Like, I'm not really attracted to anyone below the age of 25 - I might think they're nice looking, but they look too much like adolescents for me to think of them that way. In real life, I rarely think of someone much over the age of 50 as "sixy", though I might think someone is well-preserved. I tend to fancy film stars up to the age of 60, but that's because they have so much botox or whatever they tend to look far younger. When I was 20, I wouldn't have dreamed of finding a 60 year-old film star attractive - that was an "old man". But now, that's just not that old to me - they still might have 30 or 40 years' life in them. Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, those guys still have it, you know.

I still think my husband's cute, nearly 14 years after meeting him. I also have a friend who looks like an older version of him, and I think that guy is also cute, so I know that I'll still be happy in 20 years' time.

As to what I want to be like when I'm old - um ... somewhere between Summer, and Maude from Harold and Maude.

I'll Be happy if I still have all my cookies when I'm old...er. Compared to some of you, I'm already old, others, I'm still just a whippersnapper.

When I was twelve, I though twenty was old. When I was twenty, I thought forty was old. Now that I'm forty, I don't know what old is, and don't much care. I do know that my body doesn't cooperate with me as well as it did when I was twelve.
