What major bugs were fixed in Dawnguard? : V - Skyrim

Isn't that the same thing? Am I not clearing the game cache when I clear the system? Have I been doing it wring?

Or are you saying that clearing the system will clear all games, updates and DLC from other games as well, while doing the RB/LB thing will just clear Skyrim. Because I need to redownload any DLC after I have done that.

I'm not entirely sure on the specifics, I think clearing the system cache does it for all games, and clearing the game cache does it only for that game.

Also, clearing the cache should only remove the updates/patches, not the actual DLC file, I thought?

Wait. Will clearing my system cache take away my dashboard and avatar item updates? The only time i've done it was when my first xbox with older games without on-disc updates was messing up.

I clear my system cache often, the only thing it seems to affect for me are updates/patches for games, it hasn't messed with my dashboard/avatar stuff thus far.

I just don't want to lose the new cool dashboard and Gears 3 avatar items.

Now that I can tell you, with the utmost certainty, has never happened to me. I have had to redownload before playing again, but that may just be the patch, like Vman said. I can't be for sure about the DLC content. I think it is saved differently.

Probably better to just wait until tomorrow because there will be bug fixes in the DLC itself when it's released.

They wouldn't release a general bug fix as part of the DLC. The only bug fixes that will be included in the DLC are fixes that fix content added by the DLC. If save game bloat was fixed (Which it was for me on PC at least a while ago...) then it would be a general patch that everyone gets.

That's what I meant. The DLC should include fixes for some of the bugs we've listed to the devs in the beta forums, if all goes well.

I wouldn't expect any general bug fixes until 1.7.
