What new weapons and armor would you like to see in future d

A net like gladiators used. I wouldn't use it for fighting though. I would just wait on a roof and through a net on a npc as they are leaving their house.

i'm actually surprised there isn't stuff like ballistas/catapults in some kind of castle siege manner.
there is ballistas in the game but not in any practical location you would use them realistically.

with mounted combat why isn't there people/knights riding around trying to kill you on horseback?

weapons: lances
should incorporate something like jousting into dlc...
i mean there is horses, it is medieval times, there is castles.
maybe have king's tournaments where jousting is incorporated.

weapons: poison blow darts
the stealth class could use something like this. if you're assassinating someone in public people
are always going to notice someone standing there with a bow.. not too stealthy.
--
magic: some spells should work horseback, maybe not all but a very large portion should(obvious).

I do like the poison dart idea.

This game desperately needs a unique 2h sword (no, ebony blade is disqualified for looking like [censored]e and technically being 1h). Chrysamere would do nicely. Some rangery armor would be great... leather/cloth combo (WITH pants... we're not all skirt wearing nords. This place is supposed to be cold).

Crescent blades would be interesting... Throwing knives and things of the sort are also nice to have...

However, I think we all can agree, we want our spears back.

It's hard to say what kind of armor I would like, but I am hoping for there to be new factions in the future with their own variations of armor (that are hopefully practical this time around).

However, if I were to say a specific kind of armor I would like, I simply would say some kind of robes or armor fitting of a powerful Necromancer.

Flails- one handed and two handed
Spears- one handed, two handed and throwing

Just make sure if you introduce new weapons make them available for all materials.

It really isnt Beth's style but i think they could make a good bit off of releasing equipment packs for download. Like Morrowind armors and weapons, cyrodiil armors and weapons, etc

Dunmer & Argonian light armor - dreugh, chitin, bonemold or something adapted from temple (indoril, her hands). More Chinese / Turkic looking the better as I loved that side to their lore in Morrowind

Imperial Adamantium armor or similar (Imperial armors seem so dated with low rated steel & leather - I looks silly seeing them as opponents to Aldmeri in flash looking glass & elven - that is unless ebony is the higher Imperial design as seen in Imperial Dragon Armor from Oblivion).

I would like to see a lot more armor and clothing wich maybe are also bit more revealing than what you can find now ... Like what nocturnal is wearing for example, would be pretty nice if you could wear that like you can in pc mods. Its all a bit to conservative for my taste anyway. Also better weapon designs would be lovely ... more in the direction of deadric weapons... nightengale bow ... At high level they should look more impressive then what you can choose from now.

Edit: Horses that are not suicidel would be nice to,... I dont want to use it as a weapon but to ride on.

Absolutely agree about Chrysamere. It's about time it made It's triumphant return.

And I agree a thousand-fold about the pants. I've taken to only using the heavy Dawnguard sets because they're the only heavy options in the game I like the look of that actually look like you wouldn't freeze to death if you wore them around Dawnstar and Winterhold. I feel like if I'm wearing any of the Imperial armors NPCs should give you the whole "By Ysmir's Beard! You're going to freeze to death!" line.

As for other weapons - Umbra would be cool. But I think it was destroyed during one of the novels. Not sure.

Goldbrand. Absolutely. It's a shame that Boethiah's quest gave the Ebony Mail instead of this.

I'd like to see some relics left behind by the Nerevarine and the Champion of Cyrodiil. These two easily match the heroes that tons of artifacts were made/used by. About time we see something of their legacy. Other than the world still existing, of course.

Last, but not least - and I'm likely in the minority here, as I haven't ever seen anyone agree with me in this - I want to see the return of the Royal Guard Armor from Tribunal. Easily my favorite armor from any Elder Scrolls game. Hell, any game whatsoever.

Edit: Capes. Why not? Modders have easily implemented them in Morrowind, Oblivion, and now Skyrim. The community obviously wants them terribly - as these mods are some of the highest endorsed on the Nexus, or any other sites that host them. Toss some love to your console players, Bethesda. We're lonely.

All i want is more variety in armors. I dont get why evry bandit in skrim wears the same iron and fur armors/
Maybe as plug ins there could be packs that include 3-5 variations of all armors/weapons, in packs like,
Basic armors/weapons- Iron,Steel,Scaled,Steel,Leather
Elven-Dwemer,Elven, Falmer, Ancient Falmer,Glass, Hardened Falmer,
Advanced armors/weapons-Steel plate, Ebony, Dragonbone, Dragonscale, Daedric,
Misc-Shellbug helmet,Amulets, Robes, Rings

I would also like light and heavy armor of the same armor type.
Ex. Light and heavy iron armor
and i want my medium armor back.

More stuff for the red guard, they have imperial armor for imperials, orcish for orcs, ect. Not that a specific race should be forced to wear certain stuff it just that the Redguard always get the short end of the stick when it comes to TES3-TES5

Armor: armored robes, armor variations (Steel has a couple of variations), light versions of heavy armor, chainmail, capes/cloaks

Weapons: Unique spells (like element manipulation e.g. kicking up rocks and shooting them, blowing away people with gusts of air), more crossbow variations (maybe 2 small crossbows (wrist-mounted maybe?) that we could duel wield), long-range melee weapons (spears, flails)

Another thing, I wish we could have more sheaths. Say you're duel welding. Only one sword shows up on your left hip, why can't I put both swords on my back in an "X". I also duel wielding didn't look so samurai-ish. It looks ok when forsworn are charging you with 2 axes but it looks weird when a Nord just has a steel sword and dagger.

Said this along time ago in a old post but for furs feathers and scales be able to craft a armor or weapon that resemble characteristics of that creature. Such as a rabbit fur hide that allows you to move much quicker.
