what other games do you like?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:00 am

It doesn't really apply directly to skyrim but call it getting to see what hte community prefers videogame wise, so i can better see the style that TES has... developed... that is if you play other games, idk if you dedicated your life to tamriel and tamriel alone...

I play everything but Sports and fighting games. I haven't played a racing game in a long time either, but that's mostly because none seem good enough.

Right now, I'm playing Armored Core 5, a pretty big ball-buster of a game if you aren't already an AC inductee.

Hoping that Bioware has something amazing planned for Mass Effect 3... There's lots of stuff floating around the BSN site about how the ending is actually a lead-in to something bigger now... not too sure.

Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion is in public beta (With a pre-order), I was tempted, but I think I'd rather wait til it's finished, I beta'd Entrenchment and it kind of dulled the game when it was really released.

Borderlands 2 is coming out later, and then Game of the Year, Bioshock: Infinite later. Not sure where Skyrim DLC fits in to all this. Given that I feel Todd Howard and Kevin Levine have a great deal of admiration for one another, I'm betting Skyrim DLC will come out well before Bioshock: Infinite. (B:I comes out in October I think)

That's about all I got. Oh yeah, this thread is gonna get moved.

Call of Duty.
Which proves that a CoD player can have a mental capacity greater than that of a goldfish. Not ALL FPS-players are brain dead, y'know ;)

I only play roleplaying games. In the last two years I have played Dragon Age: Origins, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, World of Warcraft, and have re-played Neverwinter Nights 1, Knights of the Old Republic 1 and Baldur's Gate: Shadows of Amn.

The Elder Scrolls have taken up 90% of my gaming time over the last ten years. I don't have much time or attention to spare for other games.

This will probably be moved to Community.

I don't play a lot of games. Other than TES and Fallout, the Witcher series... that's about it. I played Dragon Age and Mass Effect but I think that's a thing of the past. The dude of the house plays SWTOR and Mount and Blade.

Fallout, Mass Effect, Warhammer 40k (Dawn of War series), Total War (Have only played some), FIFA, Battlefield and possibly the Gothic series.

For me, Mass Effect games are really awesome on the first playthrough but for some reason I can't bring myself to play through it another time. Dawn of War and Total War are, IMO, two of the best RTS series around.

In my opinion Age Of Empires and LOTR: BFME are two of the best RTS series, but that's only because I'm a Tolkien geek and a long time AOE fan (though the new AOE MMO-RTS looks terrible)

I love LOTR as well, but have you tried Third Age: Total War? It's a LOTR mod for Medieval 2 Total War and IMO it's way better than either of the BFMEs. It's actually what got me started playing Total War games, really.

Sounds interesting, I'll check it out if I come across Medieval 2 Total War.
