Kids? I'm a whole lot older than you think I am.

Anyhow, it's got nothing to do with being or feeling too special, but more to do with how we change; How I loook at the world today, may not be how I look at it tomorrow. Twenty years ago when I was still in my twenties I saw the world in a whole different way, and my musical tastes reflected that. 10 years ago my views on the world and people in general were a whole lot different than they are now...and yet again, my taste in music reflected those views. Five years ago I was not the same person I am today, and yes, my musical tastes have changed yet again. Now as for tomorrow? Who knows what it will bring, more of the same? or will it be something new yet again.
You see, there's nothing special about it. People can and do change, as do their views and tastes, that is why me and my life cannot be summed up in one song.
Sorry I'd assumed you were a kid because you either have an immature opinion of yourself (not the case it would seem), or a lack of diversity in your taste in music (also not the case, logic has failed me).
I didn't mean to offend.
I find it amusing, because every song - every song worth listening to - is about an experience. With the millions and billions of people out there, no experience is unique or special. Music has been around for a VERY long time, and captured and recorded everything we've done. Music as a whole is a reflection of society's soul.
The fact that you constantly evaluate your life, make decision and changes in it? Good thing.
And, yes, there is a song that describes you - perfectly. Tell me I'm wrong.
