Nazis occultism would still be nazi occultism, only with real spells.

America would, instead of developing the nuke, develop the soldier that could transform his body into that of a chitinous monster.

Britain would develop sufficiently advanced magic, thus having their magic become indistinguishable from technology, and become the Cybermen.

When did the magic come into play? At the start of World War II, or the beginning of mankind? Kinda has more than a little impact on history as we know it.

Fallen Soldiers of WW1 would raise again as Zombies. Hitler would develop god-like abilities by absorbing souls. Stalin too.
Japanese bow warrior monks could shoot from Japan to America. Hitler's dog Blondie would have been a three headed monster shepard.

And to be honest I think it would be pretty similar, technology might have been different, but the outcome probably wouldn't change much.

Battles change drastically with new weapons. The the fully automatic machinegun made Napoleonic methods of fighting suicidal leading to high death rates on the trench attack runs of WWI, for example.

It would be World War Magic instead of World War 2, unless World War 1 was also in a world of magic, in which case there would be both World War Magic 1 & 2. It's really easy if you think about it.

Isn't there a D20 Modern on this? I re-call someone showing me a rulebook with a Werewolf SS Officer, personally I don't care who "cliche" or otherwise. Magic Nazis, Samurai Cowboys what-ever I think they're all cool as ideas.
