I'd call bull fighting animal cruelty.

Yes and so would I. I have no sympathy for people that do that

But Bull riding is to. Getting a bull into a state of panic and fear as to forcing it into trying to throw of it's back amounts to cruelty. If you put a human through such an activity it would be a criminal act... this world is all messed up

Not many people actually get seriously hurt in the fights though. It's really well regulated.

People who say sports like football or NASCAR amaze me. Yes, they hit hard in football, but if you're going with that then you should look at Rugby. Yes, they drive 200MPH, but those cars are like cages and they take every precaution possible.

About five people die a year in modern boxing.

Actually I read on this one site while researching my technique that pole vaulting is the most dangerous sport (for High School athletics) with an average fatality rate of 3 per year. Which is kind of scary since I pole vault :P

Free skiing. Just think of all those trees you fly past at 25+ mph. And all those crazy flips and cliff jumps.

Hmmm, I'd say those silly boys that climb mountain faces without saftey ropes

Definitely these two!

Also Lacrosse (box or field) very fun sport, but can be very dangerous.
Also, Skateboarding, especially street and the Big Air events at the X-Games. Anyone remember when Jake Brown bailed on the vert wall after his Big Air trick a few years ago? I remember watching that on live TV. Holy [censored]. Glad to see him back though.

ahh please
it's only dangerous if you're stupid
Do you ride? You don't nessesarly risk your life but you do risk your safety when you climb on a horse. Even the best of the best have a spill once and a while.
Also I agree on the Bull riding topic. I'm a American, but I hate what they do to the poor animals in the rodeo. Like usually I heard about 4 animals can be pulled out within the first, like, part of the event. I saw a vid of this one thing where the let a bunch of animals just run around and everybody's gotta round them up. A horse had two broken legs, and nobody helped it, and they didn't help it till the end of the event. Also, they made the horse walk on two broken legs, and walked it to behind a truck where they killed it so nobody suspected anything. Bucking Broncos are kind, loving animal until they pull the (I think its called) flank strap. That's a very sensitive part of the horse. Think about it. You are a horse, trapped in this little box, scary men around you yelling and shouting. You smell smoke and other strange sounds. One of those men gets on your back. You hear a loud frightening sound and a sharp zing of pain on you hip right next to your leg. You start to buck because the pain so so great. You are already weakened with abuse and starvation, so suddenly a crack and you are on the ground.
That's what a horse feels in a rodeo. I don't know what they do to get bulls so reved up but I'm sure it's just as cruel.
