You don't nessesarly risk your life but you do risk your safety when you climb on a horse. Even the best of the best have a spill once and a while.
yeah i realize that, i'm just tired of all those horse fanatics that go WE'RE SO TOUGH WE RIDE ANIMALS because it really isn't THAT scary or dangerous lol

Free skiing. Just think of all those trees you fly past at 25+ mph. And all those crazy flips and cliff jumps.

You forget the Abominable Snowman that attacks you :P

Most dangerous one I ever took part in was definitely parkour. I thought I was going to die on a few occasions. Most injuries I've seen are from skateboarding, but it's not exactly deadly. Deadliest has to be like free rock climbing (pretty sure that's what it's called). It's not some obscure 'sport', and comes with plenty of risks - since you go without a harness or rope. Spelunking seems dangerous as well, but that's more of a hobby than a real sport. Just my two cents.

To be honest, I'd say one of the fighting sports. I am a wrestler myself and have been hurt but not injured. But that UFC stuff is a whole different level of pain.

Hmmm I would say probably some of that motorcross stuff (ATV & Dirtbikes), maybe also throw in Skiing, skateboarding, that crazy laying down while speeding down a giant hill sport thing, & snowboarding (maybe)

Figure skating. Don't want to know how much it'd svck to be sliced with a skate, accidentally thrown/dropped.

Parachute jumping. Miss time the initial jump and somethings going to happen, miss time pulling the cord and something will break or die, don't pull the cord you'll die.....
I think that would be really dangerous because of how percise it needs to be, but I'd still do it because it'd be awesome B)

From personal experience, Horse Riding.
Managed to really [censored] up my jaw last year when I fell of a horse (very unpredictable horse). Also got whiplash, bruised ribs and really bad back ache.
But at the same time I don't care? It's what I love doing, so it's all worth it.

Actually I read on this one site while researching my technique that pole vaulting is the most dangerous sport (for High School athletics) with an average fatality rate of 3 per year. Which is kind of scary since I pole vault
