1.9 MB/s is the fastest I've ever reached on Steam, it normally hovers between 1.5 and 1.7.

I have an 8 MB connection, and normally get a consistent 800 kb/s.

I'm envious of your download speeds, I've gotten 800 kb/s once, but generally around 500-600 with bursts of 700. I wish my downloads reached above 1 MB.

Once, and only once, I saw 4.5MB/s. Short lived as it was.

It normally starts at 2.5MB/s, then slowly drops to 1.9MB/s avg. This is on a 25MB/s line.

When I was in the college dorms it was around 5.5MB/s but when at home I get about about 330KB/s which is slow but I can do other things while the games download so it is not a big deal.

I just recently had my internet "upgraded" so it is supposedly 50Mb/s right now. I typically average about 2.5-3MB/s, which is basically what I averaged before "upgrading" it, may have to call my ISP. The fastest I've ever downloaded was about 6MB/s on my college's network two years ago.
