What is your favourite humanoid race, playable or not, within the Elder Scrolls Franchise?

I love elves within most games, but the elves within Skyrim look weird and they all seem for the most part quite evil. The Altmer and Bosmer are both stereotyped as Thalmor supporters whilst the Dunmer, unless I am mistaken, worship Daedra. Bretons are quite cool. I love magic, but hated the elves in Skyrim, so they work for most of my more recent characters.

Understanding you've probably not played past games or read many lorebooks (I used to be of the attitude in Daggerfall, Morrowind and even most of my time in Oblivion that I was playing to play, not read poorly written short stories), many if not most elves do not support the Dominion; they are just the dominant political faction; And many if not most Dark Elves worship only the "good" Daedra (Daedra just being gods that didn't partake in creation, not inherently evil daemons), i.e. Azura, Boethiah, Nocturnal and Meridia, or follow the Imperial cult (worship of the eight/nine divines). Just fyi stuff, not really that important since you ought to play the game as you like.
Spoiler
The female versions of the elves don't look as... messed up. Same goes for most races in Skyrim though.

My favourite is hard to say, either Dunmer or Khajiit, Imperials are growing on me now that they aren't the "slatted for useless merchant or bland warrior" class by default and are more "cutthroat mediterranean conquerors/paladins" with Egyptian, Roman and Greek influences. Khajiit and Dunmer have the best lore, and Dunmer architecture is neat. I'm saying Khajiit and Dunmer presuming by "humanoid" you mean "not goblins, hagravens or dragons."

Argonians. Because they're awesome, cool, and have the most interesting lore.

Love all the Mer. Some I play more, some less, but I've developed an equal kind of liking for all of them. If I had to choose, I'd say the Dunmer, for they were my first "favorite". But by time I've developed an equal kind of liking for them. They're all fascinating in their own way. That said, each single race is fascinating in its own way.

Yes. I mean the intelligent races who live, or have lived, in a proper society. I love the Snow Elves, such a shame what happened to them *sob*.

Imperials. Have always been one since Morrowind. They're pretty much like Romans. I was born in Rome so.

I don't know about you, but I have always loved Mer. Especially the Dunmer.

I know they don't all support the Thalmor. I just hate playing as them because almost all of the human races stereotype you as a Thalmor supporter. Plus, as I said, I think they look weird and I prefer to play as a male - just like putting myself in my character's shoes and I am a guy.

Imperials are okay, albeit a bit generic and bland at times.

Nords, because I just love the way they believe in fighting and warfare, respect their ancestors, and simply Talos is badass. I've been playing with Nords since Oblivion mostly, altho my main here is Imperial, my second most favourite race.
Bretons are awesome. I hate elves. So much. Sooooo much. Kajiits are interesting, Argonians are awesome. But Nords all the way.

Argonians hands down, they intrigue me since I first saw them in Morrowind. A great unique race with weird nature, culture, psychology and aesthetics. Roleplaying one is cool.

Imperials easily. Lot of people say they're bland and generic but that's only because Bethesda chose to reduce their awesome-factor. They totally missed out on the opportunity to explore the culture divide between Colovians and Nibenese in Oblivion, but http://theskyrimblog.ning.com/group/lore/forum/topics/the-imperial-divide-colovian-and-nibenese article is what really got me interested in them.

In Skyrim, it is the High Elves all the way. That is after modding the game so that they can actually look good of course. I cannot put my finger on exactly why. They just click with me in all the right ways.

Khajiit and Orcs come a very close second.
The rest? meh.

Imperials are pretty damn cool, think they're my favourite solely for being such great diplomats whilst still being imposing through training and discipline. They just seem to have the best tactical mind-sight which always appeals to me.
