What is your name?

Post » Fri Jul 27, 2012 9:32 am

Simple enough of a thread. Full or just the first name, it doesn't really matter.

My name is William.

You can call me Oreo, BK, or Brandornius. Those are the names I go by. I only use my real name for formalities.

mirglof is a pseudonym, among many i use online. I keep them all strictly separate because i don't want any connections to be made between the personae or my actual identity.

It's pronounced like "w" in "what" or "war".
If it works, http://translate.google.pl/#pl/en/Micha%C5%82%0A is quite close to how we pronounce that, just click the speaker icon on the left in the left window.

Jonathan Hirt (surprise!).

Haha, I actually always read your name as "Jona-shirt", now I see that I imagined the s...

My name is Dennis by the way. And as most of you won't be able to pronounce my last name (or my nickname ) I will not even mention it.

I see a lot of people still only want to be known on a first name basis. I'm not sure what the fear is. Amazon encouraged real user names awhile ago and now Google is implementing real names into YouTube (which in theory should cut down on all the stupid comments (racism, etc.) especially when maybe potential employers will start scanning YouTube comments). Problem is it's entirely optional right now and I see very few people on YouTube using their name.
