whats your favorite archetype

Post » Sun Jan 02, 2011 5:20 pm

I'm pretty sure I'll be Resistance so my favorites got to be the Anger, sorta reminds me of a futuristic Assassin from Assassin's Creed. But if I see like a TON of people using him, I'll go with the Sweat. The Sweat has struck me as badass ever since the cinematic trailer.

The Freak for Security. Gotta love the coat man. Not the mask so much, but I can see myself using that coat a lot.

The Sweat for the Resistance. Like Foxes said, he just comes off as a badass.

Actually, after thinking about it, I think the Fortress is the coolest one.

I want the Fortress for Resistance because of the soldier look, and the Bomb for Security, although I want him to be exactly like the E3 Cinematic Trailer, when he's standing there blowing away all of the Resistance with the minigun and survives a missile attack. But the mask looks different so I'm going to have to find it.

For the Resistance I think I favor 'The Dude', and for the Security I favor 'The Bug' and 'The Good Cop'. I'll definitely edit the hell out of the Archetypes though, because currently none of them but the Good Cop really meet my tastes to a more specific degree.

But hes so plain. He could actually be a regular cop. No one in their right mind would dress up as the Freak in real life, maybe not shield unless they're riot police........pick someone strange.....like the bug or look.

In a game like BRINK (or also APB), looking regular can make you stand out the most.

''Whoa, look! He doesn't wear rainbow coloured pants, nor got a pink hairstyle with little stars in it!''
''Whoa!''

This might be true, will be fun to see what everyone creates :P

I'd love to be able to use the Anger's hood and the Dude's gas mask at the same time, that'd be [censored] rad.

You can. If you can use the hoodie and the hockey mask at the same time, the hoodie and a gas mask should work too.

Also, Security does get a cowboy hat. Not sure if the Resistance gets one too though. I know I'll use it!

I was (well, still am) a member of a Sheriff-Department Clan in APB. We were looking quite regular (apart from our SWAT-Team).
Also there was another clan which were all wearing British police outfits. Quite awesome guys.

There could be more faces than archetypes.

There are also 5 "unknown" archetypes (well, we know The Eel for Security and that miner-outfit for Resistance, actually).

I guess The Eel will also give the Security a hood similar to The Anger's. And I guess that one can be used without the mask as well.

It is actually based off an actual riot police helmet.
