Feandeal, Alvor(after doing his blacksmith tutorial/quest) Gerdour, The blacksmith girl in Whiterun(did that delivery quest for her) Amell in whiterun(who's family sword I found and returned) the Brother and sister who ask you to help them with the golden claw, and Lydia.

The sword makes it's comments,but there is no damage increase. Also it doesn't seem to ask for a recharge. So this is now sounding like a bug that I am experiencing instead of just doing it wrong.

I've killed a few people actually some of the same people you did, and I haven't seen it increase from 26 damage yet.

Due north of Falkreath there is a lake, that feeds into the river that runs back up towards Riverwood. The grotto is north of that lake, on that little mountain there. I believe it was on the north facing side of the mountain, I actually went through a pass from the lake side.

Found it, thanks so much! Definitely is a nice blade

Ebony Greatsword looks kinda like katana.
Also, there are few Blade Swords which are katanas.
Have no idea if there are any more.

I really hope there is a regular ol' Dai-katana I can wield, upgrade, and enchant otherwise I'll be pretty upset. That was the only weapon I used in Oblivion from the time I got it. :facepalm:

So any news?

I am yet to find a 2h katana other than Ebony blade. Some here suggest to use ebony great sword, but can't find one yet nor can find a pic of it lol

So if any of you know for another 2h katana, please share.

I've read that the Ebony Blade quest requires a certain character level to be possible, level 15 or so.

Holy crap. I just got the Ebony Blade after taking this quest and I am tempted to switch to 2 handers JUST to use it. Apparently whenever you kill a follower with it the sword grows in power. I killed Faendal with it and it instantly went up 2 points of damage. This appears to be the ultimate murderer's weapon lol.

Sounds a lot like Stormbringer! Unfortunately I doubt too many people are familiar with Elric of Melnibone these days . . .

I have found a Katana style sword called "Dragonbane" it has 20 extra damage on dragons and 10 point shock damage to others. It is found in Sky Haven Temple. Works really good on dragons! Lol. Looks cool too with the electricity.

Where exactly in that location?

Currently carrying around a Flawless Blade's katana. It uses the Steel smithing perk for improvement and has the same damage/weight stats as a Skyforge Steel sword.

You can find it in Delphine's secret room in Riverwood.

You may want to venture into Bloated Mans Grotto I got a lovely Akaviri Katana by the name of Bolar's Oathblade, I got this at about level 6-8 and im now level 26 and have not come close to replacing it.
The Grotto can be found on the mountain south of Whiterun, on the north side of the far west wide of the mountain.

Its full of Spriggans and bears with a few wolves.
Plus the place looks sooooo pretty

Hey, I've been through the whole place searching, but I can't find that sword

Where abouts is it inside the grotto? I think it may have something to do with a quest I done there.
