Where would you live?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 3:38 am

If you can live in any world, what would it be? And you cannot say Earth unless it is a different version of Earth. (Example: Halo's Earth is way much different then real-life Earth)

For me.. It is a hard one... I would love to be a pony in Ponyville just because it is a happy place but I love Tamriel so much more and would love to be an Argonian in the city of Gideon within Black Marsh but Tamriel does have its issues.... Oblivion Gates, Dragons, etc...

Toril. Specifically the continent of Faerun, somewhere around the Sword Coast or Waterdeep. Maybe Amn.

Interesting question. If I was regular me then I would want to live here tbh. Anything else would be so strange that it would be very hard to adapt to I think. However if I was me plus some adjustments then I would want to be an Ex-Hand of Almalexia in 4E Morrowind having survived its disasters. If I knew what I know now I might try to achieve CHIM.

Another Alternative would to be someone relatively, but so much so, more powerful than most others in Spira. The world setting for Final Fantasy 10.

I would love to be way out in the country, somewhere in the south, with a whole bunch of land to my name.

FNV's alternate Earth... as long as Boone was in it. ... wait, did I say that 2nd part out loud...

...more seriously...hm. Probably on Aurora, one of the Spacer worlds in Asimov's novels. Robot servants, high-tech, science and art, lots of space (controlled/lowish population), 500 year lifespans, a moral and civil law system I could live with. Sounds cool.

Hmmm... Probably Skyrim. Minus them dragons. Or maybe Final Fantasy VIII's world. Or the Citadel from Mass Effect, at least a full lifetime before the Reapers come around.

None, really. Fiction usually involves a lot of premature deaths so I think I'll settle for this world.

I would live in either the Quest for Glory series, or Daggerfall style TES.

You already have the tattoos, you just need the Harley Davidson and the sawn off shotgun :P

I'd like to live in pre war Fallout.

Pokemon no doubt. Middle earth would probably be my second choice, Rivendell would be a cool place to live.
