I couldn't decide between Piper and Hancock so my character's just banging them both.

I'm at 175 hours now (3 characters), and I have yet to attempt to romance anyone. I have also yet to finish the MQ (in fact, I have never even looked for the detective yet.)
I'll (probably) wait to do these things until I'm ready for my 'epic' playthrough (Once all DLC is released, and mod similar to WWE is available.)
I had Piper for a while. I like the character, and I'd hit on her in real life if the opportunity arose But then I realized that a. she is one of those damn do-gooders that I had to stick to the straight and narrow to 'impress' and that b. I was going to have to jump through a LOT of hoops to romance her . . . meh, back to Dogmeat.
Man's best friend. You can be a murdering homicidal maniac, but treat your dog nice, give him a stimpack when a mini-nuke staggers him every now and then, and an occasional pat on the head and "good boy" and you've got all the companion you'll ever need.
I may do a "Romance oriented" playthrough at some point, but for now it is just me and my dog and my +100 carry weight, +25% damage, etc. from Lone Wanderer 3.
I have the option to with Cait but I don't because of the character I play. He's like 65 and isn't into Race Mixing with wastelander sub-humans. Even if he is somewhat guiltily protective of her and her complete acceptance of immoral activity.
Definitely Piper. Dat XP Bonus. And she's the plucky Fallout version of Nellie Bly, what's not to love?
Piper is a lovable character, well, she was before she became my "companion." I thought they did a fantastic job with her right from the cut scene at the door to the Green Jewel, and all the way until after we finished the interview and she was like "Okay, I'm happy to now become your mindless pack mule who watches everything you do and judges you for it."
Strong is a pretty entertaining fellow, but he does a good job as provisioner between Grey Garden and Country Cross, so that is out. Cait is also cute and enjoyable in her own way. But she seems to have really taken to planting crops over in Oberland.
Just don't be a dike. If you absolutely have to be a dike drag Cait along instead. She likes that.
piper, cait, and curie for me lol girl character
i didn't think i'd romance anyone until i met hancock
First Piper, then Cait, and now back to Piper.
I had heard Cait was a bad girl. I have issues with her accent though. I'm no expert but it just doesn't sound convincing, no offense to the actress who voiced her.
Curie all the way. I was smitten with her the moment I heard her speak, and became more enamoured by her naive optimism and idealism. I quite possibly would have tried to romance her even without her personal quest.
A French pacifist. An Irish that likes to drink. Oh Bethesda, where DO you guys come up with this stuff?
Don't like her accent? Well, that's a load of schite!
At the risk of mild spoilers . . . if you have not yet come into contact with http://fallout4.wiki.fextralife.com/Strong you really should. You would appreciate the campiness
