But that one is just a standard T-51b with a coat of US military standard issue olive drab paint...:P

The Veteran Rangers look like they're wearing gas masks, IMO.

Because they are gas masks?

I voted Veteran Ranger. It makes me wish the Desert Rangers were never absorbed into the NCR, so I could wear their armor without siding with them.

Desert Rangers would have been a cool faction to join/side with in the end game, too.

After the BoS defeated the Enclave at PP and AAFB, even RAIDERS had acquired the Enclave APA, I think it's safe to assume Talon Company grabbed a fair haul as well, and they have shown a good level of technical understanding with their installations in DCs having turrets and sentries, they got a SATCOM array working and have/had control of Highwater Trousers, they also utilize energy weapons. So yes, Talon Company has APA.

Oh you mean APA MK.II from FO3 yeah I'm not sure how raiders got the stuff from the BoS's greedy hands but whatever.

I hate lambourghinies(??????) but if it's yellow then I'm sold.
Paint job can mean a lot. ;)
But really, the T-51b in FO1 does not look like the T-51b in New Vegas to me, the one in Vegas looks... Ugly... I blame Gamebryo for that though.

I agree in the originals it was bulky and tank-ish but I don't think they could really capture that in FO3 or FONV. It's probably the engines fault.

Remnants armor is the way Enclave armor is supposed to look. The Enclave armor in FO3 looked like the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Advanced_power_armor_(Fallout_Tactics).

It's nice to see Enclave armor looking like it's supposed to, that's my vote.

I hear you on that, T-51b and the "real" APA always looked a little off on some parts to me as well. However the T-51b looks closer to the art then the APA does.
No one can seem to get the shoulders right in all the version of APA compared to the Art to me. To me it looks like it has shoulders kinda like the T-51b then the armored cowl thing is over top of that.

http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=49402&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=60 for some cool models for APA mk II in the works. I always have a beef about how the cowl looks too high compared to the talking in most versions out there.

Enclave armor in general is very....imposing. Remnants armor especially gives off that feeling, I'd think I'd like it a bit more (which would be hard since I like it so much already) if it was painted a dark black color.

On the topic of Armor, Who likes the Metal armor, and Leather armor from Fallout 2 better then the ones in FO3/NV?

Yeah I know but it just seems somehow that New Vegas's version didn't capture the feeling that I get when I look at a picture from Fallout 2 (like that one). If it had been blacker in New Vegas that might have helped a bit.

Ive been wondering this for a while but what exactly is the Enclave PA In FO3. APA was in FO2 but a MK.II with the same looks was featured at the end. So is bethesda's Enclave armor supposed to be APA MK.III or the MK.II that Black Isle didn't have time to make a new image for?

That's what had me confused. They call it Mk.II in FO3 but the Mk.II is pre-FO3

gamesas just tried to reinvent it, just like what they did with the BoS and Supermutants. They "keep" the item story wise but they change it up to there Idea of cool.

To me gamesas combines http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100116190657/fallout/images/f/f7/VaultTecTeslaArmor.png with http://www.freewebs.com/brotherhoodofsteelmainweb/bos_team.jpg PA in an unholy union of ugly armor birthing.

Well they just used the same thing as normal APA for MK.II inf FO2 so I geuss it makes sence that it would just be the same thing

APA mk II in Fallout 2 is the same base as APA just with improved armor plating and servos. Just like how all the other Mk II armor variants in fallout 2 are. It's not ment to be a totally different suit like with what gamesas did.

Remnant armor in NV: I really like the FO2 armor that it was based on, and while its not exact, it comes close; but I don't like the spinning fan on the back, or the clipping issues.

(Between the Remnant armor, and the original from FO2, I prefer the original).

Speaking on that, I saw that new one (that I linked several posted back, that was added to lexx's old thread at NMA) how's your version coming along? Goign to make it in NV yet?
