That...was...strange, how about this? Why do you think they chose to make "leather armor" the "leather jacket" model from the originals and not well, the leather armor?

Leather jacket and leather armor were probably too similar in name that they chose to just cut the real leather armor and instead create a new kind of combat armor.
It's nice that it's back in Vegas. But I don't see how it's "Combat Armor MK II".

Speaking on that, I saw that new one (that I linked several posted back, that was added to lexx's old thread at NMA) how's your version coming along? Goign to make it in NV yet?

Both are in my SIG. Been on the back burner for a few months, (RL work )
I'm only just getting back to it. Its close for both games, I'd like to do a FOMM installer that adds it as a relic, or replaces all the regular ones in FO3.

'Cept they did make another... Butch had his Tunnel Snake Jacket right? (trying to remember)

** On the subjest of Spandex... there is this awful effect seen in old cinema. Superheroes look cool in spandex ~in comic books, but they look... ah... uncool in motion video when dressed the exact same way. The original Spiderman movies make this easy to see. My guess is that the spandex looked fine in Fallout, but made them nervous in Fallout 3.

Yup, but since it had snake on the back of it it was no longer a leather jacket, it was a tunnel snake outfit. (Tunnel snake skin is of finest quality, Butch is a spoiled little brat with a rich alcoholic mom)

I was sad when I saw that the leg brace wasn't equip-able.
(but alas... the stimpacks suddenly cured crippled limbs)

Looking over the list of armors (stated as only from FO3 or NV), I might change my favorite to the t-51b
(being favorite unmodified armors from the two games)

Centurion Armour.

Veteran Ranger Armour fail to recreate the concept/design art's awesomeness.

I voted Remnants armor, because i like the real Enclave armor more than the one bethesda randomly came up with. Overall I think NV did best with armor. I also like MK.II combat armor because it's cool, strong, and looks like original combat armor.

Bethesda's Enclave PA wasn't really so random. It's really, REALLY similar to http://www.fallout3.phx.pl/obrazki/render/ft_power%20armor03.jpg.

Edit:
Oops...that's already been covered...

I wonder why that armor didn't make it into FO3? (I mean well.. It did, but why not for the Brotherhood?)

My favourite got to be the Winterised T-51b. I don't like the that dirty look the normal one has.

Remants Power Armour is my all time favourite armour across all the Fallout series.

For FO3 armour my favourite and most used is Reilly's Rangers Battle Armor.
