Magic+stealth I guess. I don't understand why anyone would not use magic in TES though, using some restoration seems like a no brainer for warriors for example.

Because some people like to roleplay? E.g. a viking type character, for whom magic is like witchcraft is to the good people of Salem.

I usually play a warrior-type... I prefer paladins, but the way the game is set up usually makes them less viable than I'd like. I'll have to see how Restoration can work on a martial character in Skyrim.

Heavy armor, sword, restoration if possible, shield.

My second character will be light armor, sneaky, no magic, and hates casters.

Usually a mix between thief and warrior, in Skyrim I'll be stepping out of my element and go to pure mage for the first time on a ES game.

I would say I prefer to use something of a Ranger class, Light Armor, Swords, And Bows. And sneaking around is never boring. :D

I'm best at magic, but I find stealth (archery) way more fun. This time aroud I'll probably dual-wield longswords as well.

I prefer being a warrior juggernaut of sorts, strongest armor I can get with a shield/sword and loads of health to tank my way through any obstacle (also minor in different schools of magic for versatility)

PC - Warrior
Console - Stealth

Simply because I can't aim properly with a controller.

My mage's always last longer than my other characters, but I find Marksman incredibly fun. I'll probably go Warrior/Ranger for Skyrim, seems to fit my picture of the Dovakiin (or at least, the picture Bethesda are thrusting at everybody)

lol + 1

Unfortunately this isn't M&B 2 :(

Although actually that is not unfortunate.. I would love an actual new M&B but Skyrim is going to be way better :D :tes:

A rouge warrior with high skill with a blade.

I'll model my Skyrim character after Legolas.

Sneak through the shadows, lay down a snipe with my bow, then rush in with my dual short swords to finish the deed...

In my opinion, I like to look at the schools of magic in a very scholarly way... I believe that Mages should be studying the arts of the arcane for most of their lives before they can even start to become fairly powerful. I don't believe that just anyone should be able to cast a restoration spell at will ... It should take dilligence and patience... I like the idea of Mages doubling as scholars and teachers, craving knowledge and passing on what they know...

normally im a hybrid warrior thief however my first character is going to be skyrim dude and will be all out warrior, axe and shield and dual wield. im going to try and make it through the entire game without using the sneak button once. :)

Stealth. Usually an assassin type with a bow as a primary weapon and daggers/shortswords for backup. And a bit of magic (Illusion, Alteteration) for utility usually.

I'm guessing a "light" warrior with some bow skills...

I usually RP myself out of the heaviest armour and go for a ranger/warrior type of character with a passion for bows and chainmail. If the enemy comes close enough I'll go longsword/shortsword of some kind (no shield)...

Hoping Skyrim will have top(ish) end light armour without looking like a dweeb in bright green glass armour... (whoever came up with that in the first place? I never liked it)

stealth and bows are my thing, and a dagger if i have to get up close, but if skyrim's magic has more interesting and dark spells (summoning a swarm of rats! thats something for the magical assasin) then i will work a bit of magic into that equation

Whether Mage, Warrior or Theif character I am always sneaky. I always take things slowly and try ambush my enemies to get critical hits from sneak attacks. When things heat up though I go full on and use cover or try and run past. So I exceed with Thief/Assassin characters.
