Who's boozing tonight with Skyrim?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 9:34 am

I gave up smoking green a few years ago, just didn't like the buzz anymore. Maybe I should take it up again, Lord knows it's easier on the body than boozin' :)

Remember, back then you weren't Dragonborn.

For those who are of age, who is drinking alcohol tonight

If I do I imagine ill mix up tasty drink of jagermeister and redbull.

What do you plan on drinking and how much?

If you are of age, you should be intelligent enought to read the labels of energy drinks and see that it says to NOT mix energy drink and alcohol.

One of the gods have descended into our pointless thread!

We welcome you my lord, how may I serve you?

Hah! The more pointless the thread the better. It's hard for me to resist any conversation that includes booze:) We drank a whole bunch of champagne in appreciation for eachother and all the fans. Cheers and thank you again for liking what we do! -R

Have you not heard of a Jager bomb (shot of Jagermeister dropped into a glass of redbull) or even Vodka and Redbull?

Ugh. Vodka and redbull, reminds me of my bar hopping days. Lots of sick nights. Too much of that crap WILL seriously endanger your health! Hahahaha

Yes indeed. Cans of draft Guinness ready in the fridge, and just the one chaser of ice cold Reyka (vodka from Iceland, very Nord) to celebrate.

4.5 hours to go here in CA...

Another RAVE review in the Guardian (UK National paper)

http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/gamesblog/2011/nov/10/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-review

end with this great statement:

may your boss believe you when you phone in claiming you have the plague, may your significant other be tolerant and understanding, and may your friends know you well enough not to make enquiries with the police if they don't hear from you in over a month.

Skyrim awaits, adventurers. All it asks in return is your life …

I dont get it. I guess I'm older than most gamers, but "boozing" or any altered mental state while gaming just seems...well...silly. In fact, I just dont think any kind of altered state is a "good time". It hurts your mind, hurts your body and in general, makes most everyone feel crappy. I assure you, a young or old alcoholic/drug addict is not attractive to anyone. Pathetic in fact.

Grab some veggies and ranch dressing, a cup of tea or coffee and tell everyone to piss off for a few hours while you play Skyrim. Especially those pesky wives/GF's who want you to pay attention to them all the time (what the hell is with that anyway).

Now thats a good time.

Only drink when I go out to a party, or on some get togethers. Drinking and gaming just seems silly to me.

I'm with you all the way on the tea. I need to get more tea. I keep finding mom's herbal tea, which I'm not keen on.

I should probably point out that being very "altered" or drunk has nothing to do with me drinking while gaming. I don't drink to get drunk because that would end up with me feeling awful afterwards and not being able to concentrate on the game in the mean time. I do fink drinking to be relaxing, though. I'm having a beer now and listening to some Daggerfall music. The anticipation stays; the urge to pace the house like a caged animal is receding. :D

Word. Forget drinking and gaming. Drinking is meant for going out and doing [censored]. Not [censored] gaming.

Smoking is meant to [censored] [censored], not [censored] game.

I like to drink a little vodka when I play sometimes. I find it relaxing. And I'm a heavy smoker, so I smoke no matter what.
