wil the 360 get favored again, or will the ps3 get something good for once first, im sick of waiting 6 months to get stuff i probably looked on youtube to see

Obsidian's stated they want to make it equal on all platforms. So hopefully, it'll come out on all systems at the same time.

On the other hand though, the PS3's Cell processor utilizes a different architecture than the 360's Xenon processor, which has an older architecture. Most companies (not including Infinity Ward with this one) release their DLCs on the 360 and PC before the PS3 if it's on all three systems since the architecture of the 360 and Games for Windows is so similar.

I do hope that those of us in the PS3 community get it around the same time as the 360 and PC community though.

They're trying to get the DLC out at the same time, but there's a chance that issues between systems will put some distance between release dates.

For Fallout 3 the DLC was released on the same day for all the major platforms. The PC and Xbox, only with a few hour difference :flamethrower:

I think the PS3 is just too advanced and that's why it takes longer. I'm not trying to start a console war but I think we all have common sense so we know PS3's central processor is more advanced then the 360. But I really hope for us PS3 users to get DLC around the same time. Just my opinion

I don't think that Obsidian is going to make it PC/360 exclusives. Bethesda knows that they got a lot of hate for that and they got a lot of hate for delaying and messing up with PS3 DLC. I think Obsidian is going to try to do it right the first time.

The PC/360 DLC will be finished first simply because its easier to make DLC for those systems. They may wait until the PS3 version of the DLC is done before they release it on any system so they can get it all out at the same time. But i doubt they will do that since it just delays profit.

With the FO3 DLC it was announced a considerable time before release that they would be released for XBox/GFWL as an exclusive. Everyone was aware of that (well those who bothered to read the information), and yes, there was a lot of unhappiness about it.

There has been no such announcement this time so we can only assume that if there are any DLCs they will be released for all platforms around the same time period.

If they make DLC released for all platforms at the same time, that means that they would hold back a finished DLC for a specific platform until the DLC for the last platform gets finished. Really not efficient to hold it back for the sake of releasing at the same time, IMHO.

No it isn't. What system is easier to program makes no difference to which will be released first, if they have the programming and optimisation finished from the base game then any subsequent DLC will be much easier to develop, even for the PS3. Stop trying to make up excuses as to why the 360/PC should get it first.
