According to Steam i've played (heavily modded and then some) Oblivion for 906 hours, and no, i'm not done with it :D Fallout 3 i'd expect to be 600 at most, New Vegas i'd expect to get about similar numbers.

It's meant to be played for it's replayability. (Just like how multiplayer games are meant to be played over and over again on the same maps)
You should really try more than two playthrougs in New Vegas and try more than just evil and good.

I usually just play games for the story and experience. The only reason I played it twice was first on 360, then on PC with mods.

I've only played FO3 for about 200 hours over the last several months, but i've completed every single quest (on on save, ive completed every quest several times) and found pretty much everything so im pretty much done with Fallout 3, I hope to play New Vegas a lot longer than 200 hours

cant wait.fallout 3 had welll over several hundred hours worth of play.talk about value!!!!according to makers and bethblog new vegas is going to have more hrs than f3!!!what!seriously!!!!heres hoping.iv taken a week off work to hammer my collectors edition when it comes on launch day.i know i wont even have touched the surface.but this is the point of fallout for myself.having to explore vast maps and buildings.looking through every drawer, locker, hacking every pc and every lock, not paying attention to wether its a side quest or main mission.being sidetracked when trying to get from a to b.f3 was the best game iv played(oblivion close second)i never played fallout 1/2 and to be honest they looked [censored] but the beauty is you didnt have to.
bring on new vegas .............hardcoe mode

yeee haaa

enjoy gaming peeps :flamethrower:

I think I might take a day off for release. I never go off work but I might do it just this once and still have days later for vacation.

Only 100 hours? I say more then 1200hours. I am well over 1500 hours in FO3 with all of my characters.

I don't see it as taken away I see it as improved! As for 100 hours I am sure I'll still be playing FO New Vegas 10 years from now just like I still play FO1,FO2 and Tactics. :celebration: :fallout:

This will be the first game I've ever taken time off of RL to play. Should be a pretty enjoyable experience!

yeah i dont think my time will be "taken" if im enjoying it. if my 360 doesnt crap out like it did 2 weeks after i bought FO3 i think i'll be spending well over a hundred hours with it...and that's just in the first MONTH (ok mabey not THAT many) ...mabey i'll just pick it up on PS3 to avoid that problem all together.
