It could just cut to black, and say "nine months later".
Then congratulations! You've finally sired your own child!
And nine months later, you have a baby that needs constant feeding, caring and attention.
It seems to me that having biological children in a game created around the idea that the PC is an adventurer of sorts (yes, I know you don't have to RP as it, but the most quests are still designed like that) can only work if the PC is male.
And then there's the time frame, and how it affects other NPCs. Nope, not working.
