well after they announced it, they want the players input, and then they have to add some of it into the game, and then take care of the bugs and glitches. then they have to start mass producing the games, and then ship it out to all of the places that are going to sell them. that would take about a year.

they cant go pushing it back after giving it such a strange release date...

the game is 11 months away... to be released on 11/11/11...

that number has to do something with the game, or... something!

if they pushed it back, it'd be kinda screwy... so i hope that date gives them more than enough time to get everything done.

but if they needed more time, i suppose thats fine... afterall, my list of games for 2011 is already pretty big, so its not as if i'd be bored or anything.

And announced on the 11th. these are my exact thoughts.

Oblivion was't its best due to employee cuts, am I right?

it was because microsoft rushed them to make it as a release for the 360, they didnt even have the hardware till 6 mos before realease

Honestly, I like when a game is pushed back from a logic point. Because usually it's the devs going 'NO WAIT! We still need to add ____.'

Quality game that provides in depth RPG Experience > Instant Gratification

It's the shortest time between announcement and release for Beth so I'm pretty happy.

Seriously. When we first got wind of Oblivion the wait was *painful* for many of us. I was stunned to see the announced date so close compared to the past.

'Least it isn't running on Valve time. Amirite? :D

Zing!

I'd rather them take their time and make a quality game then rush it and it be garbage.

The game is already Finished, Bethesda is taking the rest of the year to taunt fans.
