Why are Werebears such a big freaking deal?

NOT IN SKYRIM! Maybe Summerset Isle Nord, Dragons, and Werebears are more important to Skyrim.

Not in Skyrim? Do we even play the same game?

Well, that's acutally wrong. The reason for the Civil War and part of the MQ is because of the Thalmor. They are incredibly important to the game Skyrim.

Yes, it's my opinion. But it's also fact that the Thalmor are most certainly more important than Werebears.
Perhaps, but how exactly would werebears detract from that? As far as I know, no one is asking for a DLC dedicated to just werebears(at least I'm not). Werebears won't take away from getting new weapons, armors, spells, and all other goodies people demand.

Please tell me, in a very detailed way, how they are important.

Ok? Because we see them all of one time? Its like I blink and poof there gone. Don't see them again unless I restart.

You can see them an endless amount of times on the road and at multiple locations, but that doesn't even matter. Story-wise there wouldn't be one without the Thalmor, that's why they are important. So important. I don't see this hindering the werebear at all but the assumption that Thalmor aren't important is just...wrong.

I don't want either a Thalmor or a Dwemer-centered DLC, so it wouldn't detract from either.

This. I'm not asking for a Werebear only DLC. People act like there are only like 2 people working on this game and its DLC. There are enough people working at Bethesda to do Werebears and all the other stuff.

Why has Werebears been one of the most consistently asked for features since Skyrim was announced?

They are very similar to werewolves in appearance and I can only assume gameplay would be too. I honestly do not like transformations. Not being able to loot or heal is too annoying and I use werewolf and vampire lord sparingly if at all.

I understand "they're part of the lore," but couldn't someone easily mod the appearance of werewolves and end all this fuss?

Mod? PS3 and Xbox.

I don't see how a DLC for them will further them in the game? That the point I'm getting at.

LOL. I find it funny that people are so agianst werebears, there's 100 developers working at Bethesda. The guys who would do the most work on them would be the creature designers. Trust me, it's not going to take barely any time at all from the other content in the DLC.

And it's not going to take them that long to work on somthing they already have (from the gamjam) to fix it up alittle and put it in the game.

I don't want them because how different could they be from werewolves, and if they are added that DLC would probably replace something better, like Orsinium, Thalmor, the Arena or Windhelm. They aren't going to make a "Random crap" DLC containing a bunch of random unrelated things, and the only popular DLC idea they would be related to is Arena.

And the name makes me gag.

Windhelm's already in the game, and I honestly don't see the appeal of an Arena. Fight the same kinds of enemies you found out in the dungeons/caves/overworld of Skyrim? I'm good, thanks. Besides, what do you even get out of that that you don't get out of just killing the enemy in its natural area anyway? Money? Money has little to know value after you've played for a bit.

They can be very different. Take a sword and a mace for instance. A werewolf is like a sword fast and not so powerful and a Werebear is like a mace slow but very powerful.

Is this thread neccesary, I don't why you guys are so negative just because some people want something different than yourself.
about as neccesary as all those werebear threads.
