Why aren't Argonians lethargic in Skyrim?

Shouldn't they move slowly and be forced to curl up next to campfires?

They have a secret layer of insulating fur under their reptilian skin.

Do we know argonians are endothermic? Because that would be really, really weird. What's next, lizards that fly and breathe fire?

No one knows whether dinos were endothermic or exothermic. Even people with PhDs and various other letters after their names can't agree.

Which means that it's credibly possible for lizardlike creatures to be warm-blooded.

If a PhD says it's possible, then who are you to say it's silly? You big dino-hating meanie!

actually we have like a 1/2 chance that argonians can fly (the sarpa are described as winged which may or may not be literal)

I don't hate dinos, per se, they just belong to a demographic I don't identify with. Namely huge smelly toothy things that eyeball me.

Since some of the presets have feathers, they obviously are as much birds as reptiles, or amphibians for that matter since they breathe under water...
There is nothing in lore that says argonians are cold blooded, its just supposition and anecdote.

Hot water bottles.

If you stripped off their furs you'd find they have hot water bottles strapped to them... why do you think the females appear to have briasts? - lizards don't have briasts, it's hot water bottles!
