Why would giant's attack my property?

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 6:40 pm

I still don't get beth on this one. I thought giant's are supposed to be generally peaceful, but territorial creatures. If you came up close to them, they would attack you, but if you kept your distance, they would leave you alone.

So then why would they try to attack my home? I don't get it.

You're building on their land! People, and giants, don't like it when you steal land from them! :teehee:

There's probably going to be some sort of appeasemant option, cow sacrifice, to prevent the attacks.

I wish we could just build a fence to keep intruders out. I don't want to be responsible about protecting my house or family.

Should be possible to make an craftable and deployable fence like my craftable containers.
Build at workbench, drop, place and lock. You also need an guard with an bow.

Why would skeevers invade your property? They haven't invaded any other locations that I am aware of.

I'd hope it's something that can be turned off...

Not every giant has the same motivation. It's just like the giants that decide to pick on the one orc tribe.

Fence vs Giant

The Giant takes a leap over the Fence. But then the Fence grabs a hold onto his leg. and the Giant trips into the water and Floats away.

The end :)
