Wierd Road Encounters

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 12:57 am

Ever since Dawnguard I've had a few strange encounters. Over the bridge that crosses the white river in Whiterun hold on the road to Eastmarch,, I saw a pair of GIANT frostbite spiders (yes giant) NEVER had that before lol, I've also had 3 dragons attack me at once one of which was Ancient, the other frost and the other regular. I also just seen Babbete walking by outside Stonehills xD

Have you guys had any other weird wilderness encounters, or weirder than normal since Dawnguard launched?

The babbete encounter, if you talk to her, is actually her going out and finding something to eat, from what others have posted. Added with Dawnguard, among other random encounters.
As for those other ones, they're pretty random and the dragon one is actually really cool. Must have been an epic battle.

One thing I never saw before Dawnguard was a group and Thalmor and their prisoner (who had orc arrows and a bow for whatever reason) fighting a bunch of bandits.
It was kinda awesome, walking in on this 10 person battle along the road, and then destroying them all as a vampire lord.

Hahahahaa had that too, except for me it was a hunter, I was in VL mode at the time and thought he'd be an easy kill...then He transformed xD

It was haha If it weren't for my large amount of extreme healing potions I would not have survived that cause Serana was just NO help haha. I've seen the Thalmor escort before, several times. I always kill them and free the prisoner who is most often a Stormcloak lol I mostly do that to screw with the Thalmor though, rather than an actual affiliation with the Stormcloak rebellion.

Today I witnessed a small garrison of Stormcloak guards in whiterun hold being attacked by a group of Bandits. Didn't end well for either of them once I got involved lol.

i was attacked by two werewolves when dragon hunting, all the new features in this dlc are good, apart from the vampire attacks on towns and cities which have a good chance of turning cities into ghost towns and making skyrim un playable

The two giant spiders thing happened to me. Luckily, they were locked in mortal combat, and I was able to sneak by with relative ease.

I watched 3 vampires kill a dragon. Then cleaned up the rest and took the dragon soul. :)

I recently ran into people called Scavengers. They were wearing a miss match of Stormcloak and Impeial weapons and armor. Never seen them before.

I was walking down a road toward Windhelm and I saw Alduin resurrecting a dragon. I managed to stop by shooting a arrow at him but, he flew away faster than I could keep up. The odd thing is I haven't seen any sign of him for over 100 hours.

ME TOO :o IT'S A SIGN!! xD

Clearly the mudcrabs have ammased a massive underwater army and well the dragons rule the skies, the vampires rule the night, the mudcrabs will rule the sea and there will be a DLC made about them called the CHITTERING ISLES!

Farmer not Falmer XD

This made me laugh so much for some reason that if I didn't lack the skill, I'd create a mod that adds a happy little Falmer Farmer to Whiterun now. He'd wear farmer clothes of course, and sell mushrooms on the market. xD

Are you talking about that Taron Dreth character who walks up to you with a couple mercenaries? I one shot them all and left them naked in the middle of the road.

A Falmer Werewolf is a serious possibility, though. Can you imagine how awesome/creepy that would be?
