The only Dweemer I've seen is the dwarf in Morrowind and he was pretty short and fat.

Way I understood it, the dragons returning was the final prophecy of the Elder Scrolls. So logically, there should be no future games.
It was the final event of that Elder Scroll. There are alot more scrolls.

Who are cannibals.

After having his skeletal structure wracked by Corprus tumors and not getting any exercise for two thousand years, sure.

Anyways, everyone should give up on the Dwemer. The whole story is complicated, but their physical forms turned to ash. Their metaphysical forms are either drowned in Iliac Bay or scattered across various timelines.

The last Dwarf in the world had Corpus. But yeah. He probably died a long time ago.

They are all mysteriously gone

The Dwarves in TES are actually short. Not gnome size but they're shorter than Wood Elves. That's why, you know, they're called dwarves.

They're man-sized at least. They were referred to as dwarfs by a race of giants.

I do think there will be a game focused solely on their return in the distant future.

And they'll be retconned to be small, beared people.

What are you talking about? Their specters are human-sized.

They are called Dwarves because 'dwarf' can refer to things besides physical stature.

"Dorf" = World of Warcraft slang for Dwarf. We know where the O.P.'s been. ;)

Not at all. Dorfs actually goes way farther back than that. People have been using 'dorf' as slang from 70s PnP gaming. It really stated coming into popular culture with the original Everquest. I've been using dorf for a solid 20+ years now. :)

Anyway, let's hope gamesas does utilize them at some point as all the Dwemer stuff is pretty fascinating and beautiful to behold.
