With Friends Like These - Who Did You Kill and Why?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 8:24 pm

I chose Aleus Quintus because she was so nasty and, with Grelod the Kind no longer running the orphanage I figured her kids were better off without her...why have 5 more just like her in 15 or so years.

an emperor who gives up so easily it not fit to rule an empire.

The Khajit warlord.....it was pretty simple to kill him since he was a "defiler of women" and even threatened to have you killed by his henchmen. Like seriously, that was the eaiest choice to make in the DB series but it's supposed to be controversial? A hot-headed mother and wife, a soldier/mercenary who practically soils himself with fear, or you can knock off a genuinely nasty cat. I would have killed him if I came across him anywhere else.

I killed the [censored]y housewife because she annoyed me, and the Khajiit because he was awful and someone probably wanted him dead anyway.

I couldn't kill the mercenary; I felt bad for him.

use the clairvoyance spell (Illusion) and it points you towards the khajiit, therefore he is the correct target.

I killed the Nord for his armor but that was just once. All the other times I killed Astrid.

The Khajiit because he was so arrogant. He failed to learn the first rule of being a hostage. Do not be arrogant to the person holding the blade. And I do have to cop to killing the hostile mother just because I wouldn't want to grow up with a mother like that. I figured the Nord soiling himself would have to live with that stench for a while even if he did try to wash it out in the river, and there were mudcrabs around there so he would have to journey a bit until he was safe. Nasty.

my righteous sparta warrior(yes, i used that sparta hat from that imperial captain in helgen using the console command) slayed astrid immediately upon waking up.
However, all my other char. slayed the 3 witnesses because if you leave 1 or 2 alive in the end, words are bound to spread. So why not silence them all and keep the DB as secret?

He didn't 'give up'. He even routed us with a decoy.

I examined all three of the target laid before me, thought long and hard about about which one really deserved to die. I then calmly walked back to Astrid, and cut her head off.

Astrid, because she's such a smug bit of work, and because she was dumb enough to threaten me and then hand me a weapon. Oh, and because I'm not an executioner, I'm a warrior. Wasn't my fault I went werewolf in that orphanage, Hircene made it happen...

I used the console to "sixchange" one of my dolly's so I could properly dsiplay her armor next to the shiny (but poorly enhanced) suit of Daedric Armor Gen. Tulios gave me. http://i.minus.com/ibvGpkvy20Y5P6.jpg

It's a shame they don't actually ever leave the shack even if you rescue them. They just stand there.

In my dealings with the Dark Brotherhood over 3 characters, I've killed all of them, just the Khajiit, and Astrid.

They haven't been there when I've gone back later.... Kill Astrid, then go on to other stuff, land there later on the way to either the Icerunner (Jaree'Ra's quest) or Folgunthur....
