Anyone agree? I know there all old or dead now but they were pretty hot back then. Oh and does anyone wonder if cleopatra was hot? Apparantly there arent any pictures of her left. Oh! Joan of arc! she was probably pretty hot too. Any thoughts?

Hmm..never heard of her. I'd like to see a picture with her in it. I'm not really a 40's film buff, but I do enjoy old flicks from time to time.

It seems Elizabeth Taylor did play in some movies in the 40's but she was very young.
Cleopatra was mentioned earlier, and Ms. Taylor owned that role in 1960...acclaimed by many to have been the best representation ever.
I never really liked her.
However, that being said, I really never liked Marylyn Monroe either, yet she had something a little more than Ms. Taylor's Glamour.

But we're talking '40's...Lauren Bacall was very lovely.

If she did do films in the 40's I'd be strange for think she was hot since after a quick google she'd have been 8-18 since the majority of the time she'd be too young.
